I'm annoyed that they shut the parking lot down for 3 weeks to upgrade the baseball fields, but can't spend time taking care of the dog park or the playground. The fields inside the school is a whole other story, but I know that's between the city and the school. Parking here is always the pits any day of the week when baseball and soccer runs! Wish we had better options of fields to play at.

He kept talking to me defending his dog's behavior and coming closer to me and my dog and wouldn't leave is alone when i was screaming at the top if my lungs "LEAVE ME ALONE!". 2 other people were there and did nothing to intervene. If you want to deal with entitled assholes that don't actively watch their dogs, this is the place. This all happened around 7 am on a weekday mind you. So imagine what it's like during yappy hour. People come to dog parks to chill and watch their dogs play, not stress out over a dog pressed up against your dog the entire time you're there.

I might not be the best dog park critic, considering that in the short 9 months since we rescued…read moreour dog we haven't been to many, but I really enjoy taking him here. There are two separately fenced dog areas, one for "small" dogs (35 lbs. and under) and one for dogs larger than that. As you would expect, the small dog area is slightly smaller, however, both areas are reasonably sized, with plenty of room for activities (Step Brothers... Anyone?)! But seriously, there's enough room in either park to be able to throw a tennis ball with a chuck-it and fir the dog to get some speed and work out that energy. We typically go pretty early, around sunrise before I start work. The folks I've encountered have all been friendly, and there's some "regulars" that I'm becoming familiar with. There seems to be an unwritten rule along the early birds, to take your pup(s) to whichever park isn't currently occupied, regardless of size. Now, I'm OK with this and follow suit, since my dog isn't very interested in other dogs, and is more interesting in chasing the tennis ball. That being said, it's a dog park for the public, so don't expect not to have to share! Besides, a little socialization is good for you and your animals! My only gripe is that a lot of people don't pick up after their pups, so land mines are aplenty. I do my best to make the rounds when I get there and clean up a bit, mostly selfishly so I don't get an unwanted surprises. I've never had an issue with parking, although the lot isn't exactly huge, but usually isn't too busy which is nice. I always take a peak when driving by and that seems to be the case any time if the day, any day of the week. I'm new to the area since November, so curious to see if it's a seasonal thing, and if crowds will increase as the weather heats up? We'll see! Nice little walking trail around the park, with a small children's playground. If you hope back onto Alderwood and head just a bit further (50 more yards?) there's another little park, a community center with restrooms, two half court basketball courts, two pickle ball courts, and a small grass area. I also take my son (I mean that in the literal sense, definitely not referring my pet as my child) to both parks and he always has a good time!

NOT WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE $$$ I tried Doggy Adventures for…read morethe first time through the Sniffspot app, excited to surprise my boyfriend with a magical couple hours, hiking trails, spending time in the stream, picking avocadoes, and drinking fresh squeezed lemonade (as advertised on Sniffspot app). Sniffspot laid out the charges for that as $156 to cover me and my boyfriend and our 3 dogs to include access to the stream, avocado picking & freshly squeezed lemonade. I texted the Doggy Adventures team months in advance to get more info while I was booking it, but didn't hear back until 1 day before our scheduled visit. Once they contacted me, they informed me the ONLY thing covered for the $156 paid, would be doing the basic trails on one side of their property (the trails are only on a small portion of the 35-acres). No stream. No avocadoes. No lemonade. That's $78/hour to hike what in my opinion, is a pretty basic dirt trail that I could do for free just down the road. Really the biggest allure was that it was only going to be us hiking the grounds, no other dogs or people, which for my reactive pup, was a PLUS. We could hear the stream, down the hill, but because I couldn't pay the additional $157, access was denied to us for that part of the experience. On a warm sunny day in the hills of Fallbrook, with 3 panting dogs, that was just torture. The whole thing seems pretty strange. Advertised as magical, only to be denied to the experience unless you pay another $157, which was NOT disclosed on their Sniffspot page, which also is not cool. Add insult to injury, their trails are crawling with California Burclover which releases burs that stuck to my terrier and shitzu's fur to the point that it was causing them distress/pain. It took us 4 hours just to remove them. It left our dogs eyes almost stitched shut from the burrs, in their ears, on their lips. It was horrible. I get that something like this is not directly the owner's fault, but the very LEAST they could've done was give us a warning, or put signs up or something, if they know people are bringing their dogs on to their trails. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, not worth the $$$, especially in this economy.

There's a 25lbs and under section and 26lbs and over section. There are actually 3 different areas. Its very big here and plenty of room for every kind of dog. The dog mommies and daddies are also friendly and take care of their fur babies' mess. I only ever got into a fight here ONE time with another dog dad. I almost beat the crap out of him bc he was so dramatic, rude and a solidified moron. He thought my 10lb dog was gonna hurt his datson puppy. This is a public space. You take your dog to the park and have to consider what comes with it. I go to this park at least 3 times a week. This is just unnecessary. Idc what people usually do, but saying something to me about it while every dog is chasing yours is just stupid. And I don't take crap. You say sumthin to me and I hope you can back up your words. I don't need my husband who was BTW just sitting in the bench on his phone. I can throw down doesnt matter who. Lololololol. When I think about this memory it makes me laugh so hard. Only when it involves my dogs or kids, the mama bear is loose! Lmao. Haha. Other than some funny experiences and great time for my dogs, this park is amazing!

She loves the water fountain; it was clean and the water was cold. I liked that there was a big dog side with two yards and a small dog side. Both were nicely maintained (as they should be since this park is closed for maintenance Wednesday mornings). It was constantly busy and a tad overwhelming for my dog; she just wanted to play with her ball but it kept getting intercepted. We'll alternate between this and Margarita Park (it's less crowded there). Plenty of parking and a big grassy area round out the benefits of this park for me. Oh, and I even saw restrooms.
