    In Boring, OR. Good Coffee!
    Joe S.

Coffee? Cats? Moons? All in one title? Let's stop NOW. Where the F is it? Inside the garden shop? Why can't they put up a sign? Why do I have so many questions? Shut up Joe and drink your coffee! On the drive back to civilization from Mt. Hood, I don't know where we were but found ourselves driving through Boring, Oregon and needed some coffee to wake us up. (Boring is the town's name, not an adjective to describe Oregon by any means). This place came up on the cellular phone map so we pulled in and eventually made our way inside and ordered some coffee. The coffee was crafted fresh and my Oat Latte was delicious. The girl working even asked if I liked it as she said she rarely gets feedback as everyone just grabs their drinks and gets outta there. She was gracious and friendly and They had some pastries and even had one remaining day-old donut from Joe's Donuts who happened to be closed the day we wanted to go. Cat's Moon didn't get a fresh delivery but we did get to try Joe's Donut, so that was a plus. It was good. Thanks for the friendly service and letting me write on the bathroom wall... with CHALK! Sickos, I tell ya! It was a cool idea they had chalk and a wall to write a message. Neat and I can't wait till I see my message for years to come.

Cold brew by Erika is awesome!

Go here!!!! Look no further!! This place is the perfect stop for caffein or yummy treats! Erika was OVER the moon friendly and sweet. Seems like she has a huge passion for people and good coffee. We ordered a cold brew and americano with oat milk. Added a little sugar free syrup vanilla for fun. It's SO good. It's pretty hidden and very easy to pass. It looks like a garden shop but just go inside and it's a cute little coffee shop! All of the treats are locally made and fresh. I definitely would have grabbed some if I didn't just have breakfast.

Very affordable, it's an experience to be here. While you wait for your beverages you can check out other goods they have in the store, or maybe take a walk outside through their garden path. I definitely recommend especially if you're a college student wanting to find a area with peace and quite scenery ( they do have heat lamps if you prefer to study outside). The customer service is amazing, and the barista prep drinks fast. This shop is worth a visit.

This is why Yelp is so great: The BF and I are driving from Portland to Mt Hood Wilderness and suddenly decide we need coffee. I do a search on the Yelp app and discover that if we just take the next highway exit there's a well-reviewed coffee shop just off the next exit. We pull off, go a short way into a.... greenhouse? Turns out Cat's Moon Coffee is a cute little coffee shop that shares a lobby with a garden center, and I'd never know it existed if it weren't for Yelp. This place is pretty great! Obviously the most important thing, our coffees were very good. We both did almond milk lattes, and they hit the spot. They roast their own beans, which is always nice. They also have a full menu of smoothies, plus a smaller food menu that includes breakfast staples and pastries. Pretty standard fare but executed well. What I think is extra cool about this spot is how you can sit at little tables all throughout the garden center! What a great combination of businesses! It'd be so great to come here on a nice day and just sit amongst the ferns and such for sale, like your own little garden. A coffee shop on its own could never have an atmosphere like this. Very impressed. If this was in the city I'd give it a strong 4 stars, but considering it's such a great oasis on a strip that doesn't have a ton of services to offer the passerby, 5 stars it is. I'll definitely be back on my other trips to Mt Hood and the surrounding area.

I was so confused about how to find this spot because the parking lot had a lot of lumber and plants. There isn't a clear sign for the coffee shop. It's inside the building that also is the nursery. It was really cool to get coffee and breakfast sandwiches and peruse the nursery and sit in their little garden. The staff were really nice. They have yummy pastries and also sell other merchandise. I got a Boring Oregon goat milk lotion that is amazing. The drinks we ordered, latte and italian soda, were well made. It was an overall fun experience.

Wow! What a treat! We were on our way to Mt Hood for a weekend ski trip and had a craving for some good coffee. Sure, I could stop at one of the many Starbucks, but we wanted to stop somewhere different. Right off the road, we found this great little coffee shop nestled in a garden center. They have some great beverage options, as well as pastry offerings. You can also buy fresh beans for home and merchandise. The whole area is gorgeously decorated and the staff were amazing. Thank you! We will be back through again soon!
