There isn't too much to do around the area and I was told about this place. I haven't played pool or darts in yeaaaaars. They have upstairs and downstairs BUT they do not have a elevator which is an issues saying they are not handicap friendly. They do have a dartboard downstairs, pool tables and a bar where you can get drinks and order food. Upstairs is most of the dart boards though. We orderedthe burger which apparently was blah. I ordered the philly quesadilla which it was pretty good. I freaking tripped and the mustard went flying and I had to use all of the napkins to clean it. Billiards players alert, this is the place to go in the area! It is owned and operated by Janet Atwell who is at this writing # 8 in the Women's Professional Billiards Association (WPBA). This location opened about a year ago, moving just a few storefronts up from her original location. They already had their opening WPBA tournament this past May which had her crew working furiously to finish the new location. There are 4 floors with the billiard hall occupying the first 2 floors. She has some other plans for those upper floors once the finishing touches on first 2 are completed. The hall is absolutely beautiful and top of the line everything (see pics)! The tables are all new Brunswick billiard tables. One section is set up for the professional tournaments with stadium style seating and announcers booth. There are 2 bars and great food food available like wings, burgers, pizzas and I was told, wonderful sandwiches. We loved the place so much, we are going back tomorrow! If you want to play where the pros go, you must stop here for a great time and meet Janet. She is so friendly and helpful, she is the bomb! read more

My husband and stopped in one night while in Bristol to have a few beers and play a few rounds of pool. The place was not super busy at all the night we were there. We both had a great time. Nothing super fancy but the tables were all in great condition and the employees were friendly and quick when we needed refills. So I stopped by to see the tables and get a drink before a show at paramount. It was dead for a Friday night maybe two tables being used. I sat down at bar and I guess I interrupted the bartenders instagram browsing (she was not happy). I ordered my jack and ice water. Plastic cup and a small bottled water. No problem I get it,pool hall bar:no glass. No ice fine. Close me out. Billed me for the drink, the bottled water, and a convenience fee. (I still tip). Now I know why no one there. we resently visited the us from England in may 2024, we called in for a drink with our son. all the staff were very welcoming , great atmospher. roody I think the barman's name was, was fantastic with my son, he took time to teach him a game. chatted to me and my wife about similar hobbies like fishing, hiking and bike riding. I have been hoping to visit since I moved to Bristol, but the downside is they open late in the day. Finally went last night (Wednesday) and it's awesome! The tables are beautiful and seem so professional. I enjoyed being able to play both pool and darts. I can't believe the place wasn't packed. I love that they do not allow smoking. I met three people that worked there and they were all very gracious and accommodating. The cook went out of his way for me. I had a delicious Margarita, chicken fingers and potato skins. Hoping to have a veggie quesadilla next time. It was cool to hear that the owner is a professional billiard player. I hope to view a tournament and watch her play. read more

Bad Ass Place, nice, clean, cheap and fun fun fun. Was in town for the race weekend and wow did we find a gem...4 dollars an hour on the best professional pool tables I've ever played on in my life...so much fun we went back that night. Best Billiards Hall Me and my wife have traveled all throughout California, Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, North and South Carolina, Nevada all to find billiards halls on our travels and have been to several dozen. But this is the only one (maybe other than Griffs in Vegas) that we go out of our way to come back to. My wife says it's because a woman runs it . I'll never not be in the mood to come here. Fiancee and I went here on a whim one day, and we're definitely coming back. This is the perfect place to spend your afternoon. The place has the perfect welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. They are very humble with their prices too. You can play a few games of pool, get a few drinks, something to eat, and end the night expecting to close your tab at around $30. My father-In-Law and I were both at this location on a Saturday night. We were sitting at the back bar and kicked out of this establishment because those so called bar seats were for pool league members only. I HIGHLY recommend not going here considering they actually cut my father-in-law off because evidently he doesn't follow orders. The owners brother confronted me and stated the above. After I handed him my beer, he advised me not to return to this establishment. Funny, all this for ONE BAR seat... If they don't want "non-pool players" in this bar on a SATURDAY NIGHT, then maybe they should post it... Or even reserve the SAID seats... Horrible service, won't be back. read more

I've played a lot of tournaments there. They have a great staff that will answer any question and is very helpful to beginners. They have a tournament every Sunday and it's open to whoever wants to play. Around the tri-cities, Bordeline has the overall best equipment, rates, pro shop and service by a long shot. I highly recommend this establishment over all the other billiard halls in the area. I unfortunately don't live close so I have to play at another facility a lot, but I make it a point to go to Borderline when I wanna play in Tournaments and play on one of their many Diamond 9ft. tables. I have to say today turned out much better that it could have thanks to Alex at Borderline Billiards. I've been looking for a nice place for my son and I to play pool. He isn't 21 and neither one of us smoke so there aren't many choices around the area. I live over 40 miles from there and had checked the website and it says 4pm to 9pm on Sunday. That was perfect for us since we don't get many days off to do anything together. After arriving at around 6 the doors were locked. We were very disappointed and I checked my phone to make sure I didn't miss an announcement or something because it was race weekend and I thought man what a wasted trip. Alex came to the door and told us they were closed but were finishing a pool tournament. I was a little aggravated because I was really looking forward to spending some time with my son relaxing and playing pool. After he heard how far we had driven to play he invited us in to play pool and treated us just like family. The quality of the tables and equipment are second to none. Brunswick gold crowns and excellent well maintained equipment. The bar was closed but Alex came over and offered us a soda if we wanted one and took the time to fill me in on the league and different tournaments they have there. Alex really turned our day around and definitely got another customer for life. I can see many family nights in our future at Borderline Billiards. Thanks Alex!! read more

This place puts all other pool halls to shame. This is a first class establishment in a renovated building in the downtown Bristol historic district. The place is non-smoking and the owner is ranked among the top 25 women pool players in the US. Very friendly staff, reasonable prices, good variety of appetizers and drinks, and most importantly NON-SMOKING. You won't find a biker crowd here...although I'm sure they would be welcome. Plenty of plasma tv's to catch the game. read more
