Which added to the great experience for me as a patron. I was horrified it was doing to hurt like you know what, but ends up they made it painless, then the aftercare even more painless. Dental Laser Nogales, Customer Care Specialist On May 22nd Dr Sanchez was unwilling to complete this form telling me that this can only be done by a specialist. I spoke to the office manager Jose and he told me all specialists were busy. Dr Sanchez agreed that I have no infections but wasn't comfortable checking the "no" box on the form. (!!??) Dental Laser is not confident enough to stand by their dental evaluations. I would not had make a trip to Nogales from Tucson if Dental Laser was honest when I asked about having this form completed. Dental Laser should have just stated we cannot complete the form instead of leading me on. Now I had to spend $100 to see another dentist in Tucson and take time off work. During this visit the Tucson dentist found a cavity (which Dental Laser MISSED) so total cost $400. Dental laser should pay this amount but I know that Dental Laser DOES NOT DO THE RIGHT THING. I hardly ever leave reviews for anything. So when I leave a negative review, it's because what I…read morereceived was horrible. I had two bridges and veneers put on by this office in 2021 and 2023. I was told that I was getting ceramic bridges and veneers. I'm not a dentist, so I have to trust the information that I'm receiving is correct. Last week, one of my bridges broke. I called Arizona Dental and was told it was not under warranty because I had not visited every six months. Fine, I was annoyed by that, but I was willing to fly from Miami back out to Arizona to have it done. I have all my receipts from this office. They sold me what they said was a ceramic bridge and ceramic veneers. I decided to visit a dentist in Miami. When I got to her office, I asked her how long ceramic bridges usually last. She told me that usually they last a long time so if mine broke after 3 years it must've been a manufacturing defect. She started her exam and looked at me and told me that what I had in my mouth was not ceramic at all. I got defensive about that and thought that she was just trying to take money from me. I called a friend whose son is in dental school in Miami. He took a look at the work and said that it was not ceramic. A professor of dentistry at the dental school took a look at my mouth and said none of this work was ceramic. This professor is a professor in endodontics and restorative dentistry. So he is an expert in crowns and bridges. When a dentist removed the broken bridge to take an impression for the new one, they demonstrated the difference between a ceramic crown and what was in my mouth. They don't even look the same. They used a drill to show the difference. A ceramic crown will spark when a drill bit touches it. What was in my mouth will not. They sold me ceramic work, but what was in my mouth was composite materials. None of these dentists knew that I had the work done in Mexico. I purposely did not say anything about that because of the stigma that sometimes comes with foreign medical or dental work. All of them also commented that one of the fillings that was done was done poorly as well. The work I have had done in the U.S. was all fine. Again, I am the only one who knew what work was done where. Without the dentist having any of that information, every problem they pointed out was with work that was done at Arizona Dental. People visit dentists and physicians with a certain expectation of skill and level of trust. I'm not a dentist so I have to trust that what I'm being told, and what I'm being sold, is true and correct. That did not happen here. Three different dentists have told me the work in my mouth is not ceramic. I did not tell them where I had the work done. I asked about two other crowns I had in my mouth that I had done in the United States. Both of those are actual ceramic crowns. Again, I never told these dentists where I had anything done. They pointed out all the work that I had done in Mexico was not ceramic without even knowing I had it done in Mexico. I'm sure this is not an isolated incident. People go to this office because they are not dentists. They go to save money. Less expensive, or cheaper, is not always quality or even saving you money in the long term. With three different dentists telling me what's in my mouth is fake, it is no longer anecdotal or hyperbole. This office lied to me. As far as I'm concerned, they also stole from me. This office is always rushing. It's like an assembly line in there. I've had to return to get things done from that office before. I had a crown that just kept coming out. When I lived in Phoenix, I visited that office to have it re-cemented two or three times. That's not normal! A dentist in Phoenix said the crown was not made properly and was not fitting around the tooth correctly. He redid it and it's now fine. There are plenty of good dentists in Mexico. But avoid this office. It will cost you more money in the long run to redo the work with a qualified dentist that will do things the right way.

They over charge for everything. I would not recommend this dental place to anyone after they made a mistake the workers in the office started looking at us and treating us disrespectfully they were the ones that made a mistake and we somehow were the ones that were being mistreated. My sister was up next to be seen and they took another patient in before her just to be more disrespectful and make a point. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL PLACE. Horrible service. There is a lot more places that don't charge so much further down and that treat you with respect and dignity.

He also spotted a small crack in an old amalgam filling that he repaired with resin. He was very professional and genuinely friendly. He answered all my questions and I never felt at all rushed. I then had my teeth cleaned and it was just excellent. The clinic is only a five minute walk from the border. It's not a jam-packed operation with dozens of staff and scores of patients. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. Everything is clean and everything I mentioned above was done for $150. In the U.S., I'm guessing I would have paid about $450 (Or I would have been sold a root canal.)

And that was with dental insurance! I have found Dental Periogroup to be honest, patient, thorough and highly professional. Let me tell you what I got during my initial visit. On my first visit They did a complete inspection with a full compliment of X rays, Digital pictures, and wax impressions of my upper and lower teeth. I also got a full deep clean by the actual dentist! I paid $75.00!!! Is that something to complain about? During my very first visit Dr. Espinoza introduced himself to me and thanked me for giving them a chance. I have been blessed to have Dr. Camargo as my dentist. I could not ask for a better dentist and there is not enough room here to sing her praises. The office staff? Not only are they adorable but they already know my name! I would like to say that this dental practice is the best care that I have received anywhere. Dr. Tardiguila is very cognizant of your issues and makes every effort to ensure that you have no pain. He is the only Oral surgeon that I have met at this practice. The cost for all of this work will be 70-80% less than what I would pay for the same work in the States. Their office is a quick 4 block walk from the Main Nogales, AZ entry point. The only down side is that you must have your passport or Global Access card to cross the border. I don't think that the US customs is accepting the Birth certificate/Drivers license routine as correct documentation anymore.

I heard about Dr. Moreno from my dad. He spoke very highly of him and his office so I went with him. Now don't get me wrong, going to an orthodontist office in a different country was a bit nerve wracking for me. I live in Arizona so it wasn't a bad drive at all, just about an hour or so away and the walk across the border was just a small 5 minute walk. It was actually very exciting my first time going I was able to see the uniqueness of Mexico. The second you step into this office though it was like I stepped right back into one of the orthodontist offices in Tucson. The place is spotless, and I mean so clean you can see your reflection on the marble walls. It was so fancy as well with marble everywhere and flat screen TVs, the kids area has an array of tablets set to a counter with chairs and a bunch of games on them. The couches are comfortable with plenty of magazines also in English for some. He lady at the desk was very welcoming and spoke good English. And they have a neat set up where you walk up to a computer to check yourself in. The doctor did a consult with me and he was very professional and paid very close attention to detail from my X-rays. He explained to me all of his plans for how to get my teeth to look the best. He had very neat graphics on his computer that showed how my teeth would move. He even fixed he proportions of my jaw with small comfortable titanium screws. (I didn't even know that was possible). The staff was all so nice even the ones who couldn't speak much English were very patient with me and very nice. The big room where the doctor works on your teeth is very comfortable and he talks to you the whole time ensuring you are comfortable. I do recommend going as early as possible if you have to cross the border just because the line to cross the border back to Tucson is very short in the mornings on weekdays. I almost forgot to mention how great his prices are, very affordable monthly payments! And much less expensive than Tucson. I love my smile and get compliments on it all the time I couldn't have gone to a better orthodontist. He gets all of my recommendations!
