We also decided to renovate two bathrooms at the same time since we were bringing in someone to repair the damaged floors. Omri is a genuinely nice guy, very professional, good communicator, patient, and we're honestly going to miss seeing him around! Now we have two gorgeous new bathrooms and you can't tell there was any ever water damage to the floors or walls. The materials are beautiful, and the installation proceeded smoothly. Omri was responsive to questions and any changes that I wanted to make. We would definitely hire him again any time!

Disappointing experience with their scheduling process…read more I had been seeing their ads on Facebook and reached out for an estimate to build a deck. During the initial call, I explained that we were ready to move forward soon, assuming we could agree on pricing. I also casually mentioned that my husband was currently on a work trip and that we would make a final decision within about a week. The scheduler responded by asking if we could postpone the estimate until all "homeowners" were available at home because there would otherwise be too much back-and-forth. I found this to be an odd requirement for a simple estimate appointment and said so. The response was that there would be "a lot of back and forth." That explanation didn't sit well with me. For a project worth tens of thousands of dollars, it felt unreasonable to suggest that an initial estimate couldn't proceed because one spouse was away. Whether intentional or not, the interaction came across as dismissive and left me feeling like they were unwilling to work with me directly during the early stages of the process. At that point, I asked them to end the call and not contact me again.

I went to get bids from other companies; first up were the two big window companies. Because these are Solarium windows, I knew that the measurements would be different than normal house windows, so I made sure I sent pictures so the companies knew what I was talking about. The 2 Big Window Companies, that have multiple advertisements and even brag manufacturing their own windows, first told me Yes! No Problem! Then in the middle of the chat I was having with them to have someone come out for measurements and an estimate, a live person then hopped on to the chat and told me that I was communicating with AI and that they were WRONG, that these two companies DO NOT DO or WON'T TOUCH Solarium Type Windows. I then tried a third Company who came out, measured and then quoted me an amount that ended up being 3x as much for what I ended up paying! Enter DevelPRO! When other Companies said "No" DevelPRO said Yes! and from start to finish I can not stress enough how refreshing it was to finally have real confidence with a contractor like this! When hearing horror stories about other Contractor's are the norm, I am pleased to say that DevelPRO is NOT ONE OF THEM!!. Professional and Hard Working is there ethic! but the best part? The Communication!! Never once was I not able to get a hold of Paul and his Team and there were times when Paul was touching base with Me! I urge you, if you have a home project to tackle (no matter the size) Please let DevelPRO come and give you a bid, you will not be sorry. If you end up using DevelPRO for your project you will understand why I am singing their high praises! From now on, ANY home project that I may have the DevelPRO can do will ALWAYS have my Business!

DevelPro did an excellent job building the framing, adding a drain, putting up drywall, and getting a giant window installed for me. When the window manufacturer sent us a window that didn't open the way I expected, DevelPro tracked down a company in Europe that could make a new window and gave me the option of trying to modify what I had or waiting a few months for a new custom order. I opted to have them try and fix the manufacturer's mistake and they did a perfect job of getting me a window that maximizes my opening clearance so I can still move bulky items into the basement. I'm already planning on hiring them again to help get my interior doors installed.

He came out in person to walk the property and gave a detailed quote. Ilya helped suggest a look that most closely matched our original cedar lap siding, and his crew was able to preserve some of the historic decorative trim and reuse it with our new siding. We had some leaks and expected there would be areas under the siding with rot, and there were. Ilya was great about sending photos and pricing to get our permission for extra work as his crew uncovered the extent of the issues. They also built a new sturdy railing for our front steps. I received estimates from two other companies and probuilds was very competitive. I was lucky enough that they were able to start working right away. I worked with the owner, Thomas, who did a great job communicating with me through the whole project so I was never left wondering what would happen next. All members of his crew were professional, did great work, and cleaned up after themselves after finishing for the day. There were a few cost overruns from late design decisions but that was entirely on me and other than that the end total lined up with the estimate. Ive had a few ok experiences and a few poor experiences with home remodelers in the past. I can safely say this is the best experience ive had with any home remodeling project.

My family and I bought a home in August 2012 and all the bathrooms need remodeling. We decided to…read moreundertake the children's bathroom first as it was the smallest and would serve perfectly as a "tester" room. We sought bids from 4 contractors and prices ranged from 6K to 15K. We stumbled upon SMY after finding a vanity we liked and SMY were the local vendor for that product. When visiting their showroom in Lynnwood, we found them to be friendly, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and willing to take time to discuss our exact needs and wants. The bathroom is very small and had not seen any improvements in 20 years. We wanted new everything, but because of size basic layout had to remain the same. SMY quoted $9500. This price included removal and disposal of the old bathroom, new plumbing and dry walling where needed, removal of knockdown and retexturing of walls, installation of bath, toilet, vanity with granite surface and under mounted sink, a seamless bath/shower door, faucets and bath and shower hardware, the tiling of the floor and around the tub, a new bathroom fan, a mirror that matched the vanity and painting. All we had to provide was lighting, knobs for the vanity, a towel rail and toilet roll holder that they installed. When it came time for SMY to start work they communicated with me very effectively and managed expectations well. They worked as quickly and efficiently as they possible could without compromising quality or workmanship. As you can tell, I am incredibly pleased with SMY. They did a wonderful job on my children's bathroom and I can't wait for them to start work on the main bathroom. I have done a few remodeling projects now and have not always had the same level of confidence, or success that I have had with SMY. I can't begin to tell you how comforting it is to work with a company that really does want to leave you with the best product that they possibly can.

As the project evolved, I kept adding new ideas and expanding the scope -- and Lino handled every update with enthusiasm, clarity, and professionalism. He never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed; instead, he consistently offered solutions and guidance to help the project turn out even better than I imagined. The quality of his team's work has been outstanding across every service I hired them for: new flooring, cabinetry, countertops, interior and exterior painting, framing and building new rooms, tile work, and a full shower remodel. I'm truly grateful to have found Lino. I would absolutely recommend him and his team for any renovation needs -- they are skilled, reliable, and capable of handling anything you throw their way.

He also has aggressive tone when dealing with conflicts. During the process he made the mistake on picking the paint with wrong sheen and tried to push blame on us. He incorrectly chose Satin sheen instead of semi-gloss and never told us even after we showed him what kind of gloss we are looking for. Paint job finish is lower than average; we could see brush strokes, thick lines. He made another mistake to pick up wrong quartz and this resulted in delays. When installing countertops, we agreed on where to put seam and make sure quartz lines should match slightly; he did exactly the opposite. It was horrible. Lines were going totally opposite. We had to fight with him to fix this and again resulted in delays. Anytime you bring up these issues with him, he will use aggressive tone and try to put it on us. Many times during the project, he threatened to leave everything and asked us to find another contractor. It was quite stressful to say the least. So, steer away and find another contractor even if you have to pay more.
