I was in for one of the best weekends ever- there were creative touches like decor (even matching my wedding colors), my favorite adult beverages waiting for me at check in, custom tees, and all the necessary snacks. Lauren researched Austin and was able to use her vast network and got insider knowledge on the best things to do. From dinners, to raffling and nights out- it was perfection. I was really disappointed and frustrated in my experience working with Kira. Around 2.5 months…read morebefore my wedding, I reached out to her but she was unresponsive to my email and calls. I was finally able to reach her two weeks later, and she asked me to send her a list of all my vendors again (even though I had already forwarded her all my vendor contracts and information before). Kira did not follow through with my vendors according to the timeline we had agreed upon, and I was uncertain as to when I would be able to get my draft timeline from her. When I expressed my concern and frustration, Kira said that since she was hired for day of, her talking to me two months prior to the wedding was a bonus that she was doing for me, and I should not expect to get a timeline until 2 weeks before the wedding. This seemed irresponsible to me, since when I booked her she had said she was free for calls and texts anytime leading up to the wedding. She said that I was unsympathetic towards personal things that came up for her. I felt like it was unprofessional for her to be telling me about personal things in her life that was causing a disruption in her ability to deliver upon her commitment as a coordinator. I ended up hiring a different coordinator who is also day-of. This coordinator said she always works with her clients 8 weeks before the wedding, creates the timeline 6 weeks beforehand, communicates with vendor 3 weeks beforehand and finalizes everything 1 week beforehand. This was exactly the kind of clarity and responsibility I wanted in a coordinator, and I am afraid that Kira did not deliver on this at all for me.

Things were all ready when we got there and she checked on us a few times throughout the day to make sure if we needed anything. From things like making sure the places we neat ant tightly to making sure the vendors were taken care of and fed, it's so appreciated from our side. Pleasure to work with her and her team. We have worked with a lot of coordinators and other vendors in the past and it's always great to see people who get it and are just Team Bride & Groom. The result at the end is a event that goes really smooth for the bride and groom and that's what it's all about!
