Best branch I've been to. Huge makeup selection including drugstore and high end. And if course everything else you'd expect from a Boots.

A large Boots, actually situated on the shopping concourse of the Liverpool Street station / Broadgate development. It's incredibly handy for travellers using the railway station and going to and from the Underground, and seems to be permanently busy. It has all the usual range of pharmaceuticals, other health products and toiletries, as well as snacks and food, and a range of in-store health and testing facilities (for flu vaccinations, chlamydia tests and treatment, etc). The only downside is that the low ceiling makes it feel rather claustrophobic. The pharmacy in this Boots is open on Sundays until 20:00 and has pretty much the largest range of hours of any Boots in central London. It's situated inside the Liverpool Street Station making it pretty much a snap to get to from almost any tube line. My prescription was filled in about five minutes and the attentive pharmacist was helpful and had answers for all of my questions. There's not a lot more I could ask for from a Boots really. read more

I really don't like this store. The employees in the high end makeup section can be annoying and will not simply allow u to look around, which I understand is their job but still. I went for an interview there didn't realise it was this store and I hated it. I wanted to leave 5 minutes in, they acted like they were interviewing me for a surgeon position. Didn't like the manager that interviewed us, she seemed fake and didn't seem to respect us at all. She interrupted me twice on one of the activities she asked us to do. Place is very busy and claustrophobic and I could see people of authority, SHOWING a lil too much, that they're of authority. I do not like or recommend at all. read more

A good-sized Boots with an extremely convenient location in Liverpool Street Station. Excellent selection of the things you will need when traveling, such as those sample-size containers of toothpaste and shampoo, but also cosmetics and meds. The cold pills I needed were extremely helpful when I realized that I had neglected to pack them! Like other Boots, this one has a cooler of sandwiches, drinks and chips. Their Meal Deal is a winner. Unlike some other stores, this one does have a bit of a claustrophobic feeling. Lower ceilings than usual. read more

This Boots is really great because it's so big. I always come here when I need extra bits and pieces such as mini bottles when I'm going on holidays. They stock the best of beauty products, Benefit being my favourite. They also stock a wide range of perfume, medicine, toiletries, electrical equipment such as hair dryers as well as sandwiches and snacks. The queue is always fast moving here as there is always plenty of staff who are extremely helpful and courteous. read more

Our first night in London my husband got really sick. I needed a place to get him some hardcore cold meds--on a Sunday night no less. Typical American I'm used to things being open 24 hours a day so all the Boots closer to our hotel were closed. This place felt like the pearly gates! I got him the meds, myself a shower cap and some other perhaps not so necessary things including some candy. The employee I spoke to, took pity on the hapless American tourist and provided me with some clear instruction on where to get soup and oj for my ailing man. We ended up going back there to get a few more things we forgot. Long live Boots! read more

Emergency hairdryer situation. Also, cold meds. Ibuprofen. Some makeup. Ohhhh, shiny...mascara! Ok, you get my point. I needed a few things, and not-so-much some others...but I achieved at all at this Boots. I didn't want to go anywhere near the flagship/Oxford Circus and needed one that was open relatively late on a Sunday (hat tip to Miriam W, indeed lady!). I walked over, and while it was relatively busy...not overwhelmingly so (like Oxford), and I had a good 20 minutes or so to pick up the necessities and then some. Of the three Boots locations I've been to, the staff here was by far the friendliest. Also, there are ALWAYS 3 for 2 deals going on, almost every product line it seems...so when you are ready to stock up or your friend needs some things, you could save a pretty p. Liverpool Street Station is huge with many different shops, food and coffee places. The Boots at Liverpool Street is huge store. The make-up section has all the cosmetic brands and more. The photo-lab is perfect as you can insert your sim card from your mobile phone, memory stick from your camera or a USB or CD with images to instantly print. The Pharmacy is very helpful, if you feel unwell or need to know what to buy for particular allergies etc. It is very popular at lunch time with their huge selection of healthy shapers, Boots own and the 'Delicious' range. Chocolate bars, crisps, yogurt and drinks. I always find it useful to pop in when my tights have laddered! The selection is great and very good quality. Don't forget to collect your Boots points - so useful to use! read more

VERY disappointing. I occasionally use this Boots to collect prescription medicine and there always seems to be a problem at the pharmacy counter and queues are often unacceptably long. This time, I phoned head office early the following morning (Thursday) to complain about the way I was being treated, they promised to phone me back the same day and didn't. Unfortunately, I have to go back there yet again, as they STILL have my prescription. So far, the record for dispensing one of mine stands at either 7 or 8 attempts (I lost count). Friday I seemed to spend the entire morning on the phone to Boots head office. In the end, head office (according to them) got quite angry with the staff at the branch and insisted they call me back. Eventually someone did, confessing they had actually LOST the prescription meanwhile. Half an hour later they phoned back to say they had found it again. This time, I insisted they phone me when the prescription was ready to collect. They did so another 30 minutes later, but when I quizzed them more closely they admitted it still had to be checked by another pharmacist, that said pharmacist was not available and that they had no idea how long I would have to wait in-store. I demanded a follow up call, and later that afternoon was able to just walk in and collect and pay for my prescription. I eventually received the promised phone call, not from the area manager, but from someone claiming to be manager of the pharmacy. I just wanted a few vouchers in compensation, but she asked me to meet her the following Thursday, which meant yet another trip to Boots. Needless to say, she failed to show, having gone home sick two hours into her shift according to her colleagues... This time, I was handed a substantial gift token, but I won't be going back to that particular branch to spend it. read more

This is a decent sized Boots with enough self service tills that you never need to queue long. One thing to note - the fridges actually work! Cold drinks - that are really cold! Great! For that alone this has to get four stars from me. For too long have the likes of WH Smiths served up warmish drinks in a cool cabinet. read more

In addition, this branch of the chain offers lots of lunch-time meal deals to keep the City folk happy, with a particular onus on healthy food and drink - think fruit, smoothies and Vitamin Water - which are no doubt proving popular in these tough economic climes. Sign up for a Boots card to begin accruing points on all of your purchases. At last count I 'earned' about £20 this month alone which is just the trick to keep a Boots junkie like myself going through the door. read more

Located almost centre within Liverpool Street Station. Although a largish store, the selection in some cosmetics is not as wide as one would expect. Certain shades of foundation which can be found at other prime location stores, eg. Canary Wharf, would easily have these items. Surprising considering the amount of people that pass through this main station. Saying that, staff are helpful, there is a good selection of 'essentials', personal small electricals, a pharmacy and they have speed tills as well as self service. read more

Huge branch of boots on the lower floor of Liverpool Street Station. Very convenient if you are travelling and have forgotten a few things. Also useful if you work in the area for picking up stuff in your lunchbreak. They have a large makeup section, including the designer makeup counters such as Dior, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Benefit etc. You can go in and book to have a makeover at these concessions. They have plenty of staff which is good as the store is always packed on weekdays. They also have the new self-scan checkouts, which make paying for your purchases much quicker. read more

I have always managed to get served quickly, find what I need and grab some bargains here. It's on the lower floor at the bottom of escalators and a great size Boots housing everything from their standard 3 for 2's, food - to a small Chemist. The make-up section is large (about the size of a small boots) and offers make over services brands from Jemma Kidd to Dior to Benefit with helpful makeup artists who are not by any way hard sell. The food section great obviously catering to the masses of city boys and the general queue time and wait is quick as its heavily staffed. The chemist can get extremely busy at lunchtimes but its good to know its there at a mainline station in case you are going away and need lsat minute essentials or advice. read more

I love this Boots. It's huge and has everything that you could possibly be looking for. I love browsing the premium skincare section which includes brands such as Nip + Fab, Avene and A Derma, the last two being particularly good for very sensitive skin. The hosiery and hair accessories sections are pretty good as well. read more

A good sized Boots branch within the Liverpool Street tube station. Has a pharmacy/chemist within it which is very handy & more often than not VERY busy - so wait times can be on the long side. Has what they call a Premium beauty section, with brands such as Clarins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Benefit, Urban Decay, Too faced, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden etc plus all the regular brands like Revlon, Bourjois, No.7, Ruby & Millie, Maybelline etc. Also has a food section at the corner entrance. Has a few new self scanning machines. All up a good Boots branch but is quite cramped as there's always commuters packed in there at all hours. read more
