This is not a "haunted house". This is an entire fear inducing experience. I've been to a few of…read morethese haunted houses/experiences and this was hands-down the most involved and fear inciting. If you have a legitimate fear of spiders, claustrophobia, or any significant medical condition, 17th Door is not ideal for you. I didn't read about the experience at all; I just went so I could be surprised by the scares. This was both advantageous and my downfall...Cochino definitely shaved a "17" into the back of my head. That's ok for some jobs; wasn't for mine. But it was fun and easily remedied with a home hair cut :-)! The actors are great, experienced, and did an amazing job of balancing fun, fear, and safety. Only complaint is that we purchsed the VIP tickets and didn't feel a difference from the regular tickets, so wouldn't necessarily recommend the upgrade. I observed the regular line and we only went into the experience, 2 groups ahead of people that started with us. I'm sure this is time dependent--as it gets busier, you may see more of a benefit.

Wow 17th door is back for another spooky season! This year the 17th door brings the fear in what…read moreis probably the most action packed haunt in north america. Every square foot of this haunt is frightfully alive. 17 focuses on great actors and inventive non stop scares with dozens and dozens of monsters throughout all 17 rooms. Makeup and special effects are just amazing. This is a haunter's haunt that attracts the best talent around. Expect to be thrilled, scared, shocked and delighted. These monsters ain't shy, so strap in, you are in for a wild ride! Before you visit any other haunted attractions, visit 17th door first. It's in a league of its own. Sure you can tromp around another huge, overpriced, overcrowded, "just ok" theme park haunt with the same worn out mazes and the same bored rubber masked zombies doing the same tired old pop up gags you see every year, or you can do 17 and see the industry's best veteran scare actors who bring the fright night after night. Easy free parking too right in front of the main entrance. Highly recommend.

This was actually a very good scary maze! Love how they switch up the themes for each large season…read more I went to their April Hunt maze and had a great time. It was scary, with actors around every corner. The set design looks great with realistic props that showed a lot of thought and effort went into the experience. My boyfriend and I heard about Eulogy Collective through Instagram and decided to go through the Sweet Love maze. We had a blast!! As someone who loves going through mazes for the set designs and story lines, Eulogy Collective did a fantastic job. The scares were really great (every scare got me) but the attention to detail is incredible. I will say it is on the pricer side but what really makes me want to come back is to see what they will do for the next maze. The staff is incredibly kind and the scare actors who walk around outside are incredible. I am not sure how it usually (we went on Valentines day) but the wait to get in was pretty long, however it is so worth it because they make sure each group is experiencing the maze on their own. We will be coming back for Easter!

Anyway, the experience was really fun and we did extreme mode. They were in character the entire time and as idiots and chaotic our group was they stayed in character and were just amazing. The missions were great. Even after a few of my friends did get tased apparently they would pick them up so they could keep running without saying if they are okay until the end. A few of us got hurt but that's cause we ran when we weren't suppose to. At the end the end they took care of us and made sure we were okay. I hope to see them again if we ever come back. Love you guys were amazing

Horror themed immersive theatre experience…read more Ghost Hunter by Escape Room Era is more like being in a scary movie with actors, than an actual escape room. When they call this an "immersive theatre show," they mean it. This is a huge 3500 square foot location, and this lasts about 90 minutes long. While they say this is for groups of 4-12 players, it seems like 6(ish) people makes for the best experience here. Having too many people can get crowded, and having too few people means you may miss some of the interactive elements. Apparently there's an "extreme mode" where the actors are allowed to use tasers on you. We declined adding that to our experience. PROPS: To Kes, Wren, and Arshia, the team that was here when we did this experience SLOPS: It can feel strange to just wait out in front of the building, until someone comes to get you and start the experience.

Prism ticket is about $22 and up depending on the night. I loved how this haunt you were able to take a fun photo opp before entering because otherwise cameras are not allowed. So glad we got a memory! The visuals were amazing and the story line was fun and immersive. We had the goal to save humanity! I just thought the only ding was I wish it was longer. It was so short we seemed to breeze through and the wait was rather long to get in. Otherwise, a good time and definitely recommend!

We went tonight (the only Wednesday open) as a group of 6. Check their calendar to see available dates / times. We purchased combo tickets for HBM & Prism which are the only 2 mazes. Follow their IG for random promo codes! I do like how we had to purchase within a time slot which I think helps minimize the line. We waited in line for HBM for about 22 minutes with about 5-6 groups ahead of us. They are located at the old Sears building at Westminster Mall which is near John's Incredible Pizza & JC Penney. You can only enter from the outside of the mall, not the inside as pictured from previous years. Parking is free and plentiful. You can sign waivers on site. The waivers aren't allowing them to touch you or do any 17th Door type stuff involving fluids and insects.. just the typical liability release stuff. You can read the entire page while in line. You actually hand them your signed waiver at the very beginning inside the maze! After HBM, we lined up for Prism which was really fun! A scare actor came out and kept us on our toes while we waited to enter the main building. You get a chance to take photos in the first room with another costumed character before entering the maze. Not gonna lie, I was on my toes while posing for these photos thinking that something/someone's gonna pop out of no where! It is more interactive and has nice surprise scares in there. The interactive part does not involve anything crazy or involve them touching you. The story set up, scary masks, make up and the scare actors were very impressive. It took less than 10 minutes to complete but it's probably because we ran away from the creepy faces a little! I learned that the Prism haunt used to be a home haunt. I remember seeing their post during the first pandemic Halloween that they were providing a safe, outdoor show experience which I appreciate! Side note when buying tickets: Make sure you screen shot your QR code on the website after purchasing! I didn't, and the staff said the QR code doesn't always show up on the confirmation email for iPhones. I had to forward my ticket email to her then take a photo of my QR code from her phone. We all thoroughly enjoyed both HBM & Prism! You can tell how much work was put into everything. Although we were suuuper scared of going in with just our group, it made the experience better! I'd highly recommend checking both out this spooky season!
