I walked in and Martin said hello welcome to Brooks Brothers let me know if I can help you today? I showed him a text with a picture of a shirt label from my best friend and Martin found 8 shirts ! He was able to check inventory from other locations with intent to have the stores mail the dress shirts to a home address. Serviceable, convenient and superior customer service. This outlet store is clean, organized , well stocked and provides a pleasant shopping experience. Martin as a salesman is an asset. Thank you

I couldn't agree more with this line. In fact, I remember the days where if you wanted to shop Brooks Brothers ("BB"), you'd have to go to a city like San Francisco. It was always a huge deal to walk into BB while visiting San Fran...have people wait on you, a tailor's tape measure around their neck at all times. BB always meant serious clothes to my father, and I understood that quickly. Now look, I'm not saying I expect to be offered champagne or wine a la Tiffany's, but I expect way more than what was offered at this location in terms of customer service (did I tell you I went around Christmas...oh I didn't?). We walk into this large, beautiful outlet location in San Marcos on Monday (12/17) about 4:00 p.m. Not many people in the store, including customer service representatives. I think I only saw two...for a store that size heading into Christmas - are you kidding me? The store had a very "fend for yourself" to all our pre-labeled, pre-sorted sizes in the bins, atmosphere. God forbid had I been really searching for someone's time to have a suit, blazer, etc. measured and fit. When I did finally flag someone down, the questions I asked the young representative, in my opinion, were not answered in a way befitting of such a reputable, prestigious clothing company. And, as stated before, there's no way the reps would have had "the time" or the focus to really cater to a serious shopper. Ended up buying some shirts, impressed by the deal, but THIS is not befitting Brooks Brothers. Not at all the way I remember shopping at a high dollar clothing store...

There is history all over the walls, and you can see this is a beloved family run institution. That immediately made me feel good. Everyone in the store is also extremely friendly and helpful, the service is top notch. I had signed up for an appointment for a fitting, and I had a very specific suit color in mind (dark hunter green). I knew this wasn't the most common color for a suit, and I was a little nervous because I've never been through the tailoring experience before. Matt came over and walked me through everything, he helped me pick out not only the suit that is perfect for what I was looking for but he also helped me find a shirt, tie, belt and shoes. He was with me every step of the way. My suit had to be ordered and altered since it's not a common off the rack color, the team at Penner's kept in touch with me the whole time. I never had any doubt that I was in good hands, and any questions I had were answered fully. The price for everything was also extremely fair in my opinion. I fully endorse Penner's if you're looking for suits, clothes, shoes or anything else wearable. There's a big selection, and it's not just suits they also have just about anything for men's wear. A great selection, and a family owned business. I feel very fortunate to have Penner's in town and I will be back!
