My husband and I were looking for some cowboy/cowgirl boots and hats to wear to one of our dear friends' wedding in Bandera. We live in California and don't own any good cowboy boots or hats. The store had a lot of collections, was bright, well organized and clean. We were so lucky to get help from a young and beautiful sales lady, Jensyn (I hope I got her name correctly...) She was very friendly, knowledgable, very patience and helpful. She spent a lot of time helping me to pick up the right cowgirl hat that looked good on my small head. She also helped my husband with his boots and belt. When I found a pair of boots that I really LOVED, she helped to make the decision without making me feel pressured to get them. We ended up spending around $800 for all of our stuff. But both of us loved all of the items and really enjoyed the service. My beautiful boots had so many compliments from the Texans (woohoo) and also, turned out to be super comfortable: I danced non stop for 3-4 hours without pain or discomfort... This is Texas alright! What a selection of boots and hats ! Come in just to check out the inventory. Good place for work clothes to dress up Prices not cheap but good quality here. Got fitted for a cowboy hat, they have a special bar area to get personal tailoring of hats and other goods. They know their stuff for sure Some accessories like belts and ear rings too. Never seen so many boots and hats on one place and service is excellent Parking is free on a lot that is shared but huge. read more

We went in to buy boots for our grandchildren and they have a good selection. The only problem we had was with the customer service. The first lady we encountered was very rude. We asked about a price on a pair of boots because one boot said $64.99 but a different pair same boot said $69.99 She said the price was $69.99 and said they couldn't honor the lower price. She said they just forgot to change all the price tags. I told her that they should honor the lower price because it wasn't our fault but she was rude and grab the boot away from me and said she was going to change the price. This lady doesn't belong in sales or customer service because she was very rude. The cashier wasn't much better. She never greeted us when we walked up to the counter and never smiled. I don't recommend this place because they make you feel that you are bothering them. Very dissaapointed read more

I love coming to Boot Barn! Every time I step into one I always find something I like :) all the boot barns I've been to have been really organized and straightforward to shop in. My only constructive comment would be to have staff be more knowledgeable about their products (and maybe carry some more stock) - I visited several stores in search of black ankle boots and found none. I did get some advice from a manager to check online and have it delivered to me, which is nice. But I like the feel of being able to walk in and try things on. Not waste time ordering only to find out 5 days later that it doesn't fit, then return it, wait 5 more days, and so on. read more

Hands down absolutely the worst company to work for!! The management only cares about the sales and rates, not the employees nor the customer. They do not abide by Their own policies at all! Even after working for this company I didn't think it could get worse, the customer service needs a lot work. No manners from anyone in the building, constantly making excuses about their policies and poor management. Most stores do not welcome you in, do not ask if you need help finding anything, they don't check up on you, and if they do all they care about is up selling you. I will not be back, all bootbarn does it prove to you why you shouldn't shop there. read more

Me and my wife spend about 200+ dollars when we go and for her to come home and tell me that absolutely nobody helped her to get me a gift is what makes me give this boot barn 1 star because I have first hand experienced this. Usually they'll always come up and help you. Why not help someone who is ready to spend more than $100 on one item. read more

Me and my mom were waiting in line and the cashier (Jacky) won the Y100 contest going on at the store and instead of finishing helping customers that had items in line and were ready to pay she went to get her ID and made the customers wait. Me and my mom allowed the other customer to go ahead of us in our line because she had been waiting. When Jacky got back she continued when she got back to fill out the form instead of help customers that were in her line. This is very sad ruined the experience. But I will say the only reason they get one star is because Cody was very helpful in helping me find cleaners for my boots. read more

We're visiting from California and my wife wanted a pair of cowboy boots. Our hotel had a pamphlet with a coupon for Boot Barn so we decided to give it a try. The store is fairly large and the selection was quite decent with reasonable prices. Our salesperson Calvin was knowledgable, courteous and friendly. read more

Both locations have had the worst customer service. I was also told to call the 1800 number and it took over 30 minutes to finally speak to someone. They never have the sizes i need and the ones that have had had a hole and the boots have the threading coming and an scratches and at first refused any kind of discount. I wasn't asking for much. I will not be coming here again. read more
