The girl behind the counter was not dressed appropriately to be working at a job. She had a boom box on the counter that was blaring loud rap music with curse words. I asked her to please turn it down so we could hear each other speak. She turned it down then right back up to the same volume it had been at. Then the guy next to her was ringing up my purchase and he asked for the phone number. He couldn't hear the full number because the music was SO loud. I told him if he could turn it down for a second I could repeat it. He said it's ok and just put in some random digits. I did not feel welcome and was not treated properly. I will not return to this store and will not recommend it to anyone else.

So not impressed. Went in to return a pair of shoes that didn't fit my kid - was actually told they…read moredidn't have enough money on hand (it was only $45) and to return tommorrow. Went in following day, while processing the return - literally not ONCE did the manager at the counter even look up at or greet me whatsoever. Gave off a major bad/snotty vibe. Seperate incident a few months earlier: grandmother entered the store to look for a sports bag - and all the employees stayed talking amongst themselves, never a greeting or offer to assist - so she walked right back out. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because one male employee was helpful a seperate time. Overall bad customer service.

To say I'm appalled by how my daughter was treated is an understatement. We had just walked in to…read morepurchase my daughter a few pairs of school shoes on Saturday, July 21st around 6:30 PM. She literally JUST sat down on their little chair/bench in the kid's area and did a spin on it when out of no where an employee nearby completely SNAPPED and screamed at her multiple times demanding she SIT still. I was in shock, my grandmother was in shock but I made a comment back to the employee about how she needs to address me before full blown snapping at my daughter. At that time, the manager who was already walking up had heard it all take place and KNEW her employee screwed up immediately ran up to me, profusely apologized saying "I'm so sorry, she didn't mean it, she didn't realize you were her mom and thought she was from that other group of kids down there who weren't supervised jumping all over the furniture". But I could tell from the employee's face she full blown intended to snap. Now I know we hear and see all the time kids acting up, unsupervised and never corrected - this was not the case. My daughter was sitting right next to myself and her great grandmother, excited about trying on shoes and before I as a mother even had a chance to correct her to keep her feet off of their bench, she was full blown berated and SCREAMED at by this vicious employee - this wasn't a "it takes a village" kind of correction by a fellow adult but a full blown rage directed towards my daughter (because apparently she had issues with kids before her). The employee was organizing shoes and talking crap loudly about having to do her job because "crazy customers" keep messing all the shoes. The manager could tell I was overhearing everything this employee was complaining about, so we walked out and spent our money elsewhere. This employee apparently hates her job and the store's customers and needs FIRED. Don't shop here unless you want your kids berated, screamed at and cussed in front of.
