They have a good selection of boots for women if you're between sizes 5 and 8, but anything outside of that they only have a few pairs. They have even larger selections in everything for men. Everything in the store is beautifully staged and you can clearly see everything. They have a few dressing rooms and a clean bathroom. The employees greet you and ask if you need help right away, but then huddled together to talk and be on their phones. I didn't mind because I was just browsing, but if you needed help anywhere other than the entrance of the store you'd have to go get them. To me the place is more like a showroom than a store. Definitely more dress up western than practical clothing you'd be able to use in events or day to day. Aside from the HUGE selection, their hat shaping and boot stretching services are top notch. Took a pair of boots in to be stretched and the staff were diligent to make sure they knew the trouble spots. Explained the process of coming in after a few days to see if the stretching is complete or if additional stretching is needed. I called a few local stores before coming here and those outfits clearly didn't want the business but Boot Barn was welcoming. They've earned a repeat customer in me for sure. read more

The last work boots i bought at bootbarn failed before they were six months old. When i asked an employee at the register about that they were strangely defensive and suggested i not buy twisted x boots. I had my work vouchers for new boots with me and had already showed emailed it to the guy. Im for sure going to leave with boots they could've definitely been cooler about that. He showed me the $300 work boots that he suggested then went back to the register. No help at the rack from anyone. Found my own boots. Didnt have everything set up at the register when i got back so had to wait a while before i could check out. I put up a good bit of my own money to get the boots they recommended way more than in the past. I dont want to be pissed when i leave on top of it. I went into the Boot Barn location in Georgetown a couple weeks ago, not intending to buy anything, just looking around. I usually shop at Cavender's in Cedar Park, but Boot Barn's customer service blew me away! As soon as I walked in the door, a friendly gentleman named Kaleb welcomed me and asked if he could help me with anything. I asked him if he had a recommendation on exotic boots, and he pointed me toward a very nice pair of caimans. I really appreciate all his help. The ladies and other staff here were also really friendly and helpful too, but Roger really went above and beyond. Beautiful store, mediocre staff. Went in and was just in awe. I've never seen a boot barn so lovely. The selection is 5 star, they have a Shyanne boutique section at the front which is gorgeous. Service was the only thing meh. I think this location will do great in Georgetown but there were just a bunch of employees standing around at the front gossiping. I was walking around with a $300 pair of boots and wasn't asked if I needed help I had to find someone. I asked 2 people at the front and the female associate looked annoyed and the male associate tried to wander questions but but before asking her to come along. Seems like their staff is more concerned with flirting than helping customers with boots. Now, they when my husband was by my side in his Lucchese boots and custom Stetson hat I had 3 people ask if we needed anything but only spoke to him. Just wanted to drop a positive review for this store. The sales ladies who were working on 6-11-23 are awesome. They were quick to answer our phone call and quick to look on the shelf for the particular boots I needed. We drove the extra 20 minutes because of their customer service. They took my business from a store in Round Rock. I think the assistant manager and manager should put on a training class for the surrounding stores on how to handle customers. Thank you ladies. Store manager is a complete jerk. Tried to return an unworn item with the tags attached purchased 2 weeks prior, with receipt in hand, and was told I was unable to return said item because I was not a 'rewards' member. I asked to speak to a manager, he said (very rudely) "that's me". Mind you, this is the same man that rang up my purchase the first time. So I called him out saying "why didn't you tell me that I need a rewards account to return a purchase 2 weeks ago when you checked me out?" His response was "we do our best to mention it" (all the while, the store policies are posted in writing on the counter for customers to read, and NOWHERE does it mention a rewards account being needed to make a return. It doesn't even mention the fact that they have a rewards program! ) This man then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted corporates phone number. Of course the answer was yes. 0/10 rating for the jerk manager at boot barn in Georgetown, 10/10 rating for Tina at Boot Barn Customer Service. Not only did she answer my questions right away, she reassured me that the manager at this store was way out of line and giving me 100% false information. Bree was very helpful on the floor as she was very informative with deciding on what boots would be the best fit for ME! I came to the store with a situation (return/refund/purchase) that she suggested I would need to wait to speak to a manager to handle this transaction as it would involve lots of moving parts of the transaction. As I waited 20 minutes, I began to have a conversation with a young lady at the counter. As small talk began, Carmen (young lady at the counter) stepped up and said she could help me with my transaction. What, no way! I told her I could wait..as she was helping train a new staff member with another customer. She was then called to the floor as another customer needed her assistance as she (I would imagine) was the only bilingual sales staff on the clock. With a calm demeanor, she took care of my three-part transaction with ease and no hassle. WOW!! GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE!!! She took care of the customers at the counter, helped train new staff, took care of multi-step transactions, and translate for customers on the floor. She truly was invested in making the right decisions to assist in making Bootbarn customers happy! read more
