Every. Single. Time. I have been blown away again and again…read morewith the service we get from Southern Broadband for our beach rental house. The latest request had Brooke getting us on the service call list last Friday, even though I didn't call with my issue until noon that same day. She warned we would be the last appointment and that it could be late. Since we had AirBnB guests coming in the next day, I assured her we were appreciative and would be there. Our superhero, Cameron, phoned a few minutes to 8pm, saying he was on his way. Thirty minutes later he had our internet up and running. Was it late? Yeah. That's the point: Southern Broadband delivered on a Friday, when most offices close at 4:30pm; and they did not stop until the support was complete well into the evening. Big kudos to Brooke and Cameron for hearing our problem and solving it. Trusted supplier in Crystal Beach!

( I thought it was going to be a day, then it turned into a few days, and now the service is out again.) I was under the impression that when Southern Broadband teamed up with RTA that the internet would be more reliable which these intermittent outages are proving for that to be false. For a local company, I would assume they would be apathetic to the residents that rely on their service daily and provide compensation for a service that was not provided. I hear Cameron Communication and Starlink provide service to this area which might be an option.

The next month, Verizon (not the store) attempted to charge me in full for the phone and not validate the deal Emily made. I contacted her, and within 30 minutes the charge was taken off including all fees and my bill went back to the amount that was agreed upon when I got the new phone. She was polite, quick, and effective. I have never had a "good" experience with phone companies but I will be coming to this location as long as she is here.

In…read moreFebruary I decided to switch to the senior citizen discount for one wireless line and a fiber internet connection. I switched in February and was told it would take a month or so switch the billing. The next month my bill was overcharged so I waited a month. In April it was still overcharged so I called customer service and after waiting a long time I was told it would be corrected in May. In May it was not corrected and I called again and spoke to a supervisor and was told the same thing. I spoke to many people at customer service and no one could resolve the problem. In June it was not corrected so I filed a compalnt with the FCC. I did recieve a call from the AT&T Office of the President. A clerk told me I would be refunded the money that I was over charged. She credited my bill but it took until the September billl to completly refund my money. The customer service was poor and the billing statement was confusing.
