If we had landscaping questions, or plants that needed to be replaced, Ida (who is the Office Manager) responded quickly and made sure the issues were promptly resolved. The most amazing thing is the help we received from the company which went above and beyond. For example, we have a metal bench on our patio which acquired some cement splatters when the patio work was being done by the Greater Grounds crew. Ida made special arrangements for Tyler to pick up the bench, worked on it in her spare time and had it delivered back to our patio looking like new. Amazing, amazing customer service! We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. We would highly recommend Greater Grounds Landscaping. Communication during this time was also frustrating. Additionally, my experience with the owner's professionalism was concerning. When I chose not to proceed with his offered services ( lanscaping) he spoke negatively about other local businesses. In the past week, he posted a photo of a neighboring property's fence on social media to criticize another company's work, which created unnecessary attention for the homeowner and seemed extremely inappropriate. The company's contract states that they will attempt to comply with local HOA requirements but are not responsible if those standards are not met. This raises concerns, especially given examples in the neighborhood where fences appear to have issues such as warped materials, broken slats shortly after installation, and alignment problems with property lines. Attempts to address these concerns reportedly result in additional charges rather than resolution under the original agreement. Not responsible for warped posts and broken slats. There have also been instances where the owner approached homeowners after other contractors were hired, offering to fix alleged issues and speaking negatively about those companies. Overall, based on these experiences, observations, and conversations with other neighbors. I would not recommend using this business. Also, before Allen goes on his rant, as he will do. I am not a local business. I am a resident of this community. If you look at all of his bad reviews he instantly dismisses them by saying that it is a competing business. We found local company, VistaCraft Landscaping and Design, for our project. They are highly skilled, trustworthy and reasonable. The designer had great ideas, was able to re-use boulders and sheet rock that we already had, maximize supplies, work around our trees, and ultimately created something completely new, low maintenance, clean looking, and beautiful! (And this new turf is nothing like it was in the past! This stuff looks and feels so real! Little dog approved!)
