I'm happy to report that I was definitely wrong! ~ Atmosphere: Your standard Nando's decor. They have their own on-site parking which is a definite bonus and the interior is pretty large. From what I can tell, Nando's is quite popular so there were loads of people there even on a weekday night. ~ Customer Service: Really good. Like other Nando's, you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you (get your own cutlery and drinks). The servers though were especially friendly and willing to have a laugh with you as well. Gives a warm atmosphere and nice feeling. ~ Food: I ordered the Chicken Thighs + 2 Sides (Mash and Peri-Peri Chips). Absolutely delicious! The chicken thighs were tender and the medium Nando's sauce it was cooked in was divine as usual. One thing I do love about Nando's is that there's free extra sauce provided if you want; I love drizzling on some extra hot sauce! --- I've yet to experience a bad Nando's in Britain and I hope this trend continues. We spoke to the delivery driver who advised us to phone the store in the morning to request a refund. 40 phone calls later and 5PM the next day we manage to get through to them, only to be told if I haven't got the food still I'm not getting a refund. (Why would I have the food still?) The managers attitude was disgusting and he did not care about our bad experience, quoting "it's not my problem, it is what it is". He refused to give me any further details of someone higher up, he scoffed and told me "ha, can't do that, data protection innit" If you value your money and are looking for something quality to eat, this is not the place! Please bare in mind we were both very drunk after a wedding and we didn't think twice about putting that poison in our body still.
