I've brought my elderly mother here twice and it is by far the best care we have received at any Dr…read moreor clinic since I've began caring for her over 5 years ago. The staff is friendly and the NP Nicole Hawkins takes the time to listen to my mom's concerns in order to better understand and treat her condition. Working with us, patiently, to find the best plan of action for care, then being clear and transparent about what we can expect makes a huge difference between leaving the doctor feeling hopeful or frustrated and being dismissed (what we continued to see with IHA/Trinity Health). I also plan to set up an appointment with Blue Sky when I'm ready for my annual physical and have suggested to my spouse and adult son to do the same.

I've come in here a few times to see Dr. Melissa Mobley for different things. Stomach issues,…read moreanxiety, depression and some other things. She offers a lot of great advice. The first time going in where I unloaded a lot of issues and did not have any of my records from other Dr.'s offices transferred, she had tons of information and suggestions to offer about what I was going through. She was prepared to recommend medication, physical therapy, other doctors for different issues, and techniques on how to manage stress and anxiety. The appointments were lengthy to air out any concern I had and the office staff are very responsive to phone calls and questions too. Definitely recommend this location. With my insurance, it's cheaper than the major healthcare facilities and here you can usually get week-of appointments. Once, I even got next day. Major healthcare facilities book 3 months or more out.

I've been a patient at this practice for several years and had been taking the same long-term…read moreprescription without any issues. Originally, my prescription was for 1 1/2 pills, which meant I had to split a pill each day. At my last routine physical, I mentioned to Dr. Kastl that I had been taking 2 pills instead because it wasn't always convenient to cut them, and the difference in dosage was minimal. She agreed and officially changed my prescription to 2 pills. Six months later, when I requested a refill, I was told I had to schedule a medication check before it would be approved. I scheduled and attended the appointment, which lasted about five minutes and involved no meaningful discussion or changes to my treatment. The following week, I received a $150 bill for that brief visit. I contacted Dr. Kastl multiple times to express my concern and pointed out that, based on my understanding of Michigan law and federal guidelines, the medication I take does not require a mandatory six-month follow-up. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or showing any empathy, my messages were dismissed by simply stating "it's our policy". In this situation, patient care took a back seat to billing. After being a loyal patient for years, I was extremely disappointed by how this was handled. I will not be returning to this practice and would encourage others to carefully consider their options when choosing a primary care provider.

Overall the atmosphere of the whole clinic/center is relaxed and laid back. There's a television in the waiting room and everything feels clean and up to date. I did not receive any physician care here but I did take advantage of the walk-in lab to get blood drawn. And when I say "drawn blood" I mean TWELVE vials (my new doc is apparently extremely thorough). The woman working at the lab was awesome. She was a little snarky but in a completely accessible warm, joking way. She was meticulous with checking and double-checking all the labs that were ordered. I warned her about my veins being crap (at most places, they stab into my arm and then "dig around" continually moving the needle under my skin and stabbing every which way until they finally get a vein - I don't mind needles or pain but it's sickening). This lady, on the other hand, felt both my veins and was careful to choose a small needle. She stuck me once, precisely, right into my vein, and got a good draw. THANK YOU, LORD.
