We chose this place initially because our Director is passionate about supporting local businesses…read more I emailed The Print Shop with some questions to see if they had the necessary equipment and staff to accomplish what we needed. I received a prompt reply asking for more specifics. Initial communications were good, but then my department received new mandates about the materials we needed so I went to follow up with The Print Shop liaison, Chuck. In my email to them, I gave more specific information and needed an updated quote to take back to management for approval. No reply from them for a week now. I don't know what happened, but they went from same day answers to the cold shoulder after we submitted the additional information with the request for an updated quote. We decided today not to go forward with The Print Shop for our printing needs.

This shop was recommended to me by a former co-worker and I have been very pleased with the work…read morethey've done for me. When discussing a project, both Michelle and Jim will bring up things you might not have thought of, such as things that might cause issues or options that might save you money. For example, what were designed as black and white pages in my dual bw/color project were stilled viewed in their printer as color because the computer-operated printer could detect shades of color within the black. Michelle worked a little magic to force those bw pages to print as such. There was a small charge for her time to do this, but it ended up saving me thousands by printing those pages as bw rather than color. Jim and Michelle are very easy to work with and certainly know what they are doing. It is nice to be able to talk directly with the bosses! I have several more projects in mind and I know who I'll be going to when the time comes to print them. The end result is that my projects come out looking very professional. I couldn't be more pleased.

I rarely purchase ink, because my thoughts about ink have never changed since the first time I…read morepurchased it: It's expensive, and I should just use someone else's printer. ;) So when I found myself needing to purchase ink (egads!), I was sort of frustrated. How can I get a good deal on ink? I've heard of "ink refill" but I figured it was.. Complicated. Or not easily accessible. Or just not worth my time. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Enter Rapid Refill. Once I did a quick search to find a place that "refills" cartridges, I realized that Rapid Refill was a mere 5 minutes away from my apartment. Hmm.. No prices listed online. That's a hindrance for me, because I have to carry a baby around with me everywhere I go, so if it's going to be a no-go, I'd rather not leave my house. But it's conveniently located next to a coffee shop, a convenience store.. You name it. So I drove over just to chance it. I didn't need to do that, but I'll get to that later. The gentleman who helped me was EXTREMELY friendly. Have I ever been here before? Nope. What do I know about ink refills? Nada, zip, zilch. What kind of cartridges do I have? These ones, I said, as I threw a bag full of empties on the counter. He had them in stock, rang them up.. And there we have it. I'm a believer! The total cost came to about $30 less than what I had priced out from a big box store. OK, so I work in an office. I'm always trying to save my boss some money. I asked him if he carried toner, and for how much. It depends, of course, on the model of the printer, and I had absolutely none of that information available. Remember what I said about not needing to go in to get a price? They've got this handy online form, where you just enter in the make/model of your printer, or what model of toner you're looking for, and they'll get back to you with a price. The thing is, I never believe companies check their website emails like that. That's why I never used it. So after my experience IN STORE, I figured they seem on top of their game, and once I was back at my office, I sent a submission via their website. He called within 10 minutes. (They were open) He says they do free delivery over a certain dollar amount. Needless to say, I'll be ordering from them in the future, and I'll be recommending anyone who owns a printer that I used up valuable printer time to go there as well. Savings of roughly 25-35% depending on what you're ordering. Friendly, diligent, the whole package. Stop over paying. Start using these folks. Happy Printing!

I am not a regular Yelper, but I had to post my first review after my latest experience…read more.. I have been using Richfield Printing for my printing needs for years. Their consistency is unmatched when it comes to quality and customer service, my two favorite things. With my latest printing request, I decided to contact a local printer instead since it was a smaller job (but still, a very important job). And the nightmare began-- with the local shops my emails were going unanswered, quotes were being delivered weeks later, and when I was finally able to get a response from someone and my product printed, I was disappointed (to say the least) with the results. I even had the local shop re-print...but round two was still not up to my admittingly high standards. So, I did what I should have done in the first place, and I contacted Richfield Printing. Mike gladly accepted my job and patiently answered my extensive questions. The job was printed the next day, and I was provided a tracking number the day after that. Two days later, the package arrived. I must say-- I was a bit nervous after the stress and negative results I'd experienced with the local printers. I opened the box and was immediately pleased with the care that went into the packaging. My product was beautifully separated, wrapped, and protected. (A very nice surprise compared to the way the previous shop had rubber-banded and thrown the product into a paper bag.) Based on the presentation, I knew what came next had to be good...and it sure was. Upon immediate glance, everything looked great...in fact, too great. I was so used to disappointment, this all seemed too good to be true. So I went back to look at every single piece, searching for error, but I found nothing. Only perfectly printed and assembled sheets of paper. Wow. With the abundance of quick-stop print shops, it's a very special thing to find a quality shop like Richfield Printing. The consistent results and care I receive as a customer will keep me coming back for a long time.
