He is meticulous and kept in touch with me to let me know where we stood with inspections and even where the other contractors were in the jobs. Mark has the best personality and was there at a moment's notice with any concern. And he had plenty of resources up his sleeve to help get our place finished. Even when I felt I was ready to jump off a bridge, he had it all under control. And I don't know a lot about lights but I can say the way they are placed in the garage bays are pretty awesome. He also had a fella that did drywall and this man was a pro. He was supposed to come back and sand and I'm not sure what exactly because it looked perfect to me. When we get ready to do the house, Mark will be in the middle of it all and I hope we stay friends for years to come. Plus, he promised me a disco ball!

Will be putting a plug for them on Facebook too. Would suggest when you get time to set up a page so people can "Like"Three Wire Electric in Lexington KY. A Satisfied Customer, Andrea Stauter

Luckily I had a clue as to what a pressure switch should cost (It's really just a switch) so I paid the service call fee and sent that company packing. I bought and installed my own pressure switch for $30 locally the next day, but that didn't fix it, so I called MY guys at Fayette PLUMBING and HVAC. They quickly diagnosed a blown fuse I'd missed and got me up and running. Stayed another 20 minutes testing the system to see if it would blow again, and so far all is well (knock on wood!) During the wait, the friendly, knowledgeable tech taught me how to read codes on the control board and gave me some great advice on keeping the system running well. Their charge? $100. A great value, any day of the week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It's rare to find a home service company that communicates well, shows up on time, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way. These days it is hard to get anyone to even answer the phone. I would definitely recommend Doctor Electric and will use them again in the future.

The quote was for a 2 hour minimum for $200 which is reasonable for an electrician to charge. According to google, expect $162-522 with or without travel expenses, supplies, etc. Edit: 1/16 Appointment day: Justin had given a courtesy call at approximately 3:45 p.m. to tell me he was going to be late because of bad weather. Around that time, it started sleeting and the immediately flurrying. He arrived and still went down to business trying to figure out the problem. I told him, if I were him, I would have just told my client that I could not make it. AMAZING! Still waiting for him to come back tomorrow with a few outlet replacements that should fix the problem. Will update the review. 30 minutes completed. Note- Yelp has this business closed on a Sunday (above and beyond anyone?) 1/17 He came back, during a snow storm, to resume finding out what could be causing the outlets from receiving electricity. He changed out two GFI outlets and a breaker, which he made two trips to Lowe's. He will come back to check things out on the 18th and I will update. 1/18 Justin ended up coming back again, he changed out the outlet that had initially caused the problem and that was enough to get three outlets working. That shorted another two outlets, but all it had taken was a reset on another GFI. Sweet! He was reasonable. I paid $400 total. $20 in tip on the first day because he came out of his way to take a look and a $25 A&W restaurant gift card, so he could make up for lost time with his family, for coming out on those nights. Suggestion: This business uses Angi for payment processing on credit cards. They also take cash. This may, depending on your credit card lender, take a few days to reach them. There may be an issue where you pay a bill and they may call you back for proof. I suggested to this business that Square, a payment processing app, could be used instead (the one where it allows the vendor to charge via cell phone or tablet on site).
