    I like the other third party company such as Expedia etc this is an entire scan put on by the hotel industry and these companies to where they sell you insurance as if you could cancel or change your trip plans but if you do change you get nothing in return you just get charged for the insurance then they say that the hotel or accommodation have to approve your coverage so then it's out of booking.com's hands So needless to say we didn't get a dime back we just made the reservation two days ago we had to cancel for unfortunate circumstances

    I got scammed and never got refunded or accommodated

    Booking.com is a scam. On their site, they claim to "adhere to a set of values, standards, and guidelines intended to protect our partners, customers, and employees." That statement is completely false. They do not protect customers -- I was scammed out of money, left without the service I paid for, and Booking.com did nothing to help. Booking.com is not safe to use. I was scammed out of $408 US dollars by a fake listing for a hotel/Airbnb. The host never showed up to give me keys, and I was left stranded without a room. When I contacted Booking.com, they promised they would accommodate me -- but they never did. I also never got my money back. Instead of protecting customers, they allow scammers to post fake listings and take people's money with no accountability. This company clearly does not verify listings or take responsibility when things go wrong. Be warned: just because a property is on Booking.com does not mean it's real or trustworthy. I will never use them again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

    Booking.com has the worst customer complaint resolution process. I stayed at a partner property that had roaches. I documented the problem, informed the front desk, and requested a refund as anybody would. The property later refused to refund the money. And when I brought this to booking they were terrible at helping, only giving me backwards information saying that if the property doesn't agree to refund there is nothing they can do. Makes absolutely no sense given the photos and videos I shared and my immediate escalation of the problem. Booking offered no way to return my funds for the inhospitable Booking. It's not my fault their partner is uncooperative. That should never fall on the customer. Been using this app for over 10 years and never had a more terrible experience. I had a agent supervisor hang up on me. No refund was processed despite my not getting what I paid for which was a properly sanitized room and a luxury experience. This far from delivered and the company simply doesn't care.

I booked a supposedly top class apartment in Benalmadena, paid top price £1,600 for 9 nights and l had a catalogue of problems with the apartment which l contacted the owner about. I went on holiday to rest and ended up dealing with problems! Nothing came of getting in touch with the owners. I contacted Owners Direct well before Christmas and have heard nothing from them. I tried to put a review on the apartment but guess what it wont let me!?

    If I could give negative stars I would for the penthouse apartment in SoHo. In Greek street…read more First it is a 4 floor walk up with narrow stairs. There were no checkin instructions given and when I arrived there was no internet outside and no way to reach them. Finally got an emergency number and after a joke of a 30 minutes we were inside and finally had a key. Then the walk upstairs with suitcases. Apartment did not have any information inside about internet or tv or anything else. After another 20 minute phone call we finally had the internet on. They advertise a flat screen tv but there are neither cable or local channels available. You tube and Netflix are the only options. Noise level is 12/10. Goes all day and all night and until 4 am when there is a chorus is bottles and yeah removal for an additional hour. Impossible to sleep unless you wanted to curl up in the bathroom. Fridge has a wine rack which promptly broke and ended up with our wine on the floors. The construction of it was absurd. Towel hook broken on the bathroom and it came flying off and missed my eye by millimeters. So utterly and completely misrepresented on the internet and their information. Really outrageous. Would recommend against sleeting one of these units. Waste of money and you actually value sleep forget about it!!

He was staying for business and therefore checked into a hotel for the next 4 nights. Concept apartments didn't even reply to my message and I only found out they would not issue a refund from Booking.com. I have videos of the noise throughout the night, but they don't care- they just want to take your money! Horrible apartments- dirty, cheap and terrible customer service!
