The staff were extremely helpful, and helped her try things on and gave me some really good advice. They actually talked me out of buying a few bits, and advised I dyed her old dance shoes rather than buying new ones. I would highly recommend this shop, they even have some fancy dress clothes which I will be going back for very soon!!

Also quite handy for your basic fancy dress bits - to buy or rent - although not a very large selection. The shop owners are always friendly and happy to help...but then you couldn't really be miserable working in a shop called Having a Laugh could you? Does the job, although if you're looking for something quite specific you might be better ringing ahead to check if they stock it or going somewhere with a larger selection.

The front of the shop is brightly coloured making it easy to spot from the road, and parking in the local streets is relatively easy, you could always use the station car park if it was really busy.

Upon booking I made a genuine mistake when Google dropped in the wrong postcode to my address. 7…read moredays after paying the deposit (almost 2 months) before my event date, someone from their team reached out to check the correct venue address which was provided. 2 weeks then before my daughters party I was then told they could not do my party and were keeping the full deposit (because no one internally had relayed the venue address when it was updated). Horrible customer service whereby no responsibility taken at any point for not checking or updating the address. would never use or recommend to anyone. Now I have been left paying double for a short notice entertainer whilst they keep the full deposit.
