This is a used bookshop off of Pat Booker Rd. It's main genres are the harlequin romance types and other mass media publications. Not to sound like a book snob or whatnot, but that's really not my bag. However, I did still find a couple books to pick up, in their quite small contemporary literature section. I'll probably come back here, (mainly because its now the only bookstore in this area after Borders closed) but I won't set my expectations very high. Side note: the young adult section is fantastic, especially if once upon a time you were a young, bookish girl who devoured every Apple Fiction book you could find. I'm talking Babysitter's Club, the Saddle Club, the Cat Ate My Gymsuit... I think the Book Rack might have bought out my elementary school's library. read more

I came across this place after going to half price books and couldn't find what I was looking for. I was surprised at the big section of books at the Book Rack. The lady that worked there was very helpful and was able to find the authors that I was looking for in the matter of minuets. I love reading paperbacks and that is the main kind of books that they have. I also asked about selling my books there, and she said that they will give you 25% of the price on the book. The only take hard back books if there are a new release or a non fiction book. I am defiantly glad I found this place and will be visiting it a lot. read more

It's nice that bookstores like this still exist (it's pretty huge) but of course their selection is what you'd expect (huge masses of romance novels, and a lot of Dan Brown-type silliness, as well as endless rows of modern military pulp (Tom Clancy type stuff). With a big military base nearby, that's not a shocker. I'm not personally a fan of books that let you turn off your brain, but that's just me. Still, they have a decent classics/literature section (yay) and a good bit of old sci-fi, though it's more oddball stuff than the big names (yay that you're exposed to something different, boo that it'd be tough to complete collections here). Anyway, prices are low, pressure to purchase is non-existent, and there's even a bathroom. A good place to spend an hour or two and get some interesting books. I got some Saberhagen, Faulkner, and an old history of the Napoleonic Era that's pretty interesting, plus some other stuff. A fun trip. read more

This used book store is a nice friendly environment and has a ton of books that are categorized into their genre. The lady working here was really sweet and helpful. Once you're done with the books, you can trade it in for score credit if you'd like. read more

The owners of the place are really nice and helpful. I live about 20 min away but find myself there all the time. You can trade in books for store credit and explore their books on sale (located in the back of the store) some are even two books for $1. I highly recommend this place. Easy to get to, great selection and a nice trade in policy. Plus you never know when you might stumble across that jewel of a book you have been looking for forever. Only thing I don't like about it is they stamp their name in every book and put a red line along the bottom of every book to show you bought it there. I collect books (have a few 1000) and have found books there worth upwards of $500 if mark was not there. Overall, I recommend this store to anyone who wants a used book. read more

Pretty decent bookstore! I was a little shocked that they had as many choices as they are a smaller mom and pop kind of bookstore. My nieces birthday is coming up and she reads these old books that go along with the "shoes" collection and they are getting harder and harder to find. I of course waited until last minute to shop for her so finding it online was a no go i needed it that day. Luckily I ran across this bookstore and they had what I was looking for. Friendly, helpful staff, I appreciated the time the lady took with me to find what I was looking for. Thanks for all the help, my niece loved the book! read more
