Let's start off with what I don't like...umm I can't think of one thing that I don't like but I have a million reasons otherwise. The quality....the clothing is built to last. I've had t-shirts that are at least 5 years old and they look practically new after many washes. No fading at all. I have totes, crossbody bags, socks, keychains, candles...and various other clothing items. No complaints whatsoever. The store is beautiful, rustic, nostalgic and pays homage to the area where the store is situated. I miss the downtown location but the store in the Strip serves us well. I had heard this shop moved here into the Terminal, but I was not familiar with the brand. It's a nice little shop with cool decor. It is designed to look retro. They even have an old classic Triumph motorcycle on display. What caught our eye was a shirt displayed on an outside rack with a crying pirate on it that said . . . "Actually There's A Lot of Crying in Baseball," which is very apropos to our local Major League team here in Pittsburgh. The shirt was $36. We bought one for a Father's Day gift. I was surprised to learn that the return policy on shirts is one year . . . ONE YEAR!! That's kinda crazy, but apparently they are supposedly good quality, and made in the U.S.A. In addition to shirts, they also had other clothing too, such as hats, shorts, socks, n'at, and they even had stickers for sale . . . Cheers! P.S. One negative thing was that they don't give out paper receipts. You can have it e-mailed or sent by text. I opted for an e-mail, but it never actually arrived (meh)!!!

The merchandise itself is a bit picked over. I know this is "outlet shopping," and have been to other DSWs over the years and in different places. The prices on everything but the discount racks at the back are nothing special. It's full retail. Those racks, yes, have some deep markdowns.

I then pointed out the great deal I'd gotten on a designer coat that day, and she again was snarky in saying, "who is that? Never heard of them." I fully understand the need to be proud of your brand but if you're in retail and have nothing good to say, shut it. Also, whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? To be fair, my other visits there were very pleasant and professional. The sales associate Rachel was extremely helpful and delightful in helping me find and pick out two cute dresses. They were all soft and cushy and felt better than sneakers. I bought a pair of wedges, one pair of sandals with a small chunk heel, and one pair of flatform sandals. There was a buy one get one 50% off sale at the time. I couldn't pass it up. After being at the shoe store for over almost two hours (talking and shopping) I came home and tried them all on again and couldn't be happier. I can't recommend this store enough. I am obsessed!! In the checkout line, we did not have to wait at all. The cashier made pleasant small talk, and she accurately processed our transaction. Days earlier, Kohls had emailed me some Kohls Cash that I could use toward the purchase, so I used it to offset some of the cost.

The top level contains merchandise for men, children, and home, and the bottom level contains merchandise for women. I focused on the women's clothing. I saw an assortment of shirts, pants, shorts, dresses, coats, and other apparel that previous retailers could not sell. I recognized brands such as Calvin Klein and Nike, but I had not previously heard of some of the other brands. I thought that the prices were low to moderate. I decided to purchase a pair of UnionBay shorts for $23. The cashier quickly and correctly rang up my purchase.

At the same time, another employee positioned an iPhone near where we were standing, which made us feel uncomfortable and singled out. We are both African American, and the behavior of the employees felt prejudiced and unnecessary. We entered the store fully intending to purchase fragrances, but left feeling disappointed and unwilling to spend our hard-earned money in an environment where we felt judged rather than welcomed.
