The owner at Bonnie wigs is horrible. She is an arrogant older woman with her nose high up in the air. Be prepared to be judged, receive a cold reception and very poor customer service.
I chose to buy a human hair wig for around $1,800 from one of their catalogs and was told that because it wasn't in store I would have to pay a significant deposit of around $400 and wait for the item to be ordered in. They said it would take around two weeks.
After the first month of not having heard from them, I decided to telephone them to see how it was going. The staff member I spoke to informed me that they still had not ordered the wig and that I would have to wait another week. When I telephoned again after that week, I was given the same excuse. This went on for "three" months! Lucky I wasn't in a rush! Normally I would not have waited for so long, but I really wanted that particular wig, and like many, I had the false belief that Bonnie Wigs was a reputable business. Unfortunately this was not my experience. When I finally had enough, I stormed into the store, demanded to speak to the owner, and demanded to have my deposit returned. The stone faced, fraudulent, con-artist, owner, then explained to me that she would not return my deposit, but I could spend my money on another product in-store. I was given no reason for why it took three months to not receive my product, or why I, the customer, had to always contact them, in relation to my order, rather than them, keeping the customer informed!
To be frank, their customer service and attitude was disgusting, misrepresented, and fraudulent! I would never purchase from there again and whatever you do, DO NOT give them any money upfront!
It just goes to show how stupid they are, they could have made an $1,800 sale, had a repeat customer, and good feedback, but instead because of their incompetence, or whatever you want to call it, they only made a $400 sale, pi##ed off the customer and received a bad review.
To the owner of Bonnie wigs, remember this... statistically in business, for every ten customers you please, you might be lucky to receive one word of mouth referral. For every one customer you disappoint, you will get ten bad referrals, because people remember and talk about their bad customer service experiences more than the good ones! read more
