ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS SERVICE!! I brought my WORKING TRUCK last week to get a simple recall issue fixed. Instead, I got broken brakes and they WOULD NOT fix it!! The owner himself told me straight up. He said his mechabic broke the brakes when fixing the recall but they won't fix it because it's rusty. I said, "uh yea, its a 25 year old work truck, of course its rusty BUT I dropped my truck off and it was working fine." He DID NOT CARE!! Sat there with a cocky look on his face and crossed arms. He wouldn't fix what they broke, he wouldn't tow it somewhere else to get fixed. He haned me the keys and I had to drive it away with NO FRONT BRAKES!!! The cause THREE separate issue to top it off with costed me $800 to get fixed at another mechanics and I also lost an entrie days payslip the following day. This business is DISGUSTING!!! If I could give no stars to this place I would. I bought a brand new Chevy truck last month and was in need of a warranty repair. Stopped here because it's closer to my home than the dealership I bought it at. Joe in the service department didn't even have the decency to turn around and face me when he asked what can I help you with. The attitude on this guy was unbelievable. When I told him I had a problem with my truck he said, "Looks like you bought it across the river, I can't help you." ( Must have seen the dealer plate frame) I asked if he was serious. He said "His customers are already waiting two weeks out." They don't have time. Way to miss a chance to strengthen the Chevy brand Bonner. I'll make sure when it's time to trade up in a few years to completely disregard you as you did me. Ended up going "across the river" to Valley Chevrolet where I purchased the truck. What a great experience. It's rare that you walk into a dealership and you don't feel like an adversary. I walked through the door and was really put at ease quickly. I told them want I wanted in a truck. They took me to the right one. We didn't negotiate for long. They gave me a good early price. They found better financing to get me the payment I wanted. And here we are four months later and with year-end clearance; most advertised prices are about the same percentage off as they gave me in June. How can you beat that?!? I can't begin to tell you all how well they treated me throughout the experience. To put it into perspective, I started my truck search saying, "any full-sized truck, except a Chevy." They sold me on the dealership and the brand. So far, neither has disappointed. Oh yeah, free inspections for life, woo-hoo!!!! Update: A little more than a year-in and I couldn't be more thrilled with service after the sale. The truck is great, the dealership is great, no complaints. Update #2: Still no issues nearly three years after purchase. The dealership is still treating me well and I've had no issues with the truck. After 20 years of Acura's and Honda's, I'm kinda surprised at that one. read more

I called when we were about 25 minutes out to set up an appointment. The service department was so very accommodating. They informed of location across the street to drop our travel trailer, check-in and they had our truck in for service as employees were returning from lunch! Great group of employees. I'm sure everyone in the area has seen the multiple lifted Chevy Silverados that Bonner Chevrolet has beautifully displayed along Wyoming Ave. My husband was easily attracted, bit the bullet and spent quite more that his original budget and purchased one of these gorgeous trucks. Unfortunately, prior to it's first oil change, the dash lit up like a Christmas tree with multiple warning lights. We determined it was an Anti-Lock Brake issue. Upon inspection, we noticed that whom ever put the lift on the truck ever so brilliantly routed the ABS Sensor wires between the upper control arm and the coil spring causing the wires to be pinched and exposing the wire from its sheath. We set an appointment with Bonners Service to have the ABS Sensors replaced, considering the damage had already been done. We returned today to pick up the vehicle. The Service Writers explained to us that rather than replacing the minute $100 sensors, they cut out the bad and spliced the wires back together. Typically a consumer would see that the lights were out on the dash and assume everything was great. Hard to believe that a professional dealership that prides themselves on quality customer service was not aware that cutting and splicing ABS wire changes the frequency in the wire and could cause your Anti-lock Brake System to malfunction or fail. I'm assuming that Bonner is not concerned with any liability of putting their customers in such danger. After today, I've lost faith in the dealership experience and quality of repairs. It also make me wonder, what other detrimental sacrifices have they made to make their trucks to make them a bit more cosmetically appealing? Either way, thank you Bonner for the "Band-Aid" repair job, we will take it from here. read more
