The fruit salad contained a variety of sweet, fresh fruits, including mango, berries, grapes, apples, plums, and cantaloupe (I requested no papaya). It was large enough to share. Thick, fluffy, beautiful berry sauce. New favorite. We're on a CDMX pancake mission and these set the bar. Red berry + lychee mimosas were such a treat. The ribeye steak tacos were decent, but the tortilla soup was unbelievably bad. The tuna tostadas were also disappointing--the tuna did not taste fresh at all. The chicken Alfredo was another letdown. It was overloaded with shredded cheese, and there was so much cheese that I could barely see the chicken or the pasta. To make matters worse, their credit card machine was not working. Instead of paying normally, we were asked to make a deposit directly into the owner's account, which felt unprofessional and inconvenient. After this experience, I can understand why the restaurant has a 3.5-star rating. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the food quality, flavor, and overall customer experience need significant improvement.
