Havnt been here is so long so we decided to stop in for some dinner. Place is really nice with an upscale vibe. Hostess was nice and seated us quickly. After looking the menu over we decided on Corn Chowder & Lump Crab to start. So good! Thick and creamy with lots of fresh crab. Then we shared the Beef & Ginger Potstickers. Delicious but very salty. Finally we moved on to the main. The NEW Fontina Pork Tenderloin. Cooked really well nice flavors. I had a side of Jasmine Rice. I was craving some. A solid overall experience with dependable food and friendly service

chicken parm was burnt after waiting 1 1/2 hours for food. Had an older couple order before and they finished dinner before I got food.

Found myself in the mood for shrimp and a martini and did they deliver! Can't say I've ever had a bad time at bonefish, tho I do truly miss their endless bubbles brunch! Went around lunchtime on this past Saturday and it wasn't too busy for us to need to wait, which was great because we were hungry! Dove directly into the bang bang shrimp which is always a must!! They had a whole mess of different martinis to choose from, I went with a pineapple one and it was dangerously good, I had to stop at two! I wasn't shrimped out just yet so I went with with pineapple shrimp to follow suit with my drink and that also was delicious! The service, the food, it all was wonderful! Would recommend and def would return!

Came here for a friend's birthday. We were a party of 7 and they were able to seat us almost immediately on a Friday night. Our waitress, Molly, was great. She was energetic, personable, and checked on us often. I ordered a cup of the corn and lump crab chowder. It was good but definitely not a lot of crab. What you see in the picture is all the crab on top. I also ordered the crab fries. I'm a Maryland girl and this was disappointing. Very little to almost no crab visible.

Just Wow. We walked into this location and were amazed at the ambiance, lovely decor and the spaciousness. We had stopped to say hi to a friend and stayed for a late lunch. We sat at the bar and Felicia greeted us immediately. We ordered our drinks and looked at the lunch, daily and all-day menu. So much to choose from. I ordered the Calamari which is flash-fried with peppers + sweet spicy Asian sauce. As anyone ordering calamari has encountered, you never know what you'll get. These were light, tasty and not rubbery. My guy ordered the Tacombo. He decided to have one chicken and one blackened Baja fish taco. He also had the house salad prepared with artisan greens and the cheesy potatoes. He said 'if salads always tasted like thus he would eat one each day' (wow, from the diehard carnivore). The ciabatta bread with basil dipping oil was fab. Kudos to the staff. From deciding to stop in to say to hi to Nay, then deciding to ordering (and loving) our lunch, and chatting with our bartender/server, Felicia, this was a good experience. As a rule, we don't frequent chains but this visit was wonderful and we will go there again. BtW, free on-site parking is a perk.

PERFECT SOLO LUNCH DATE! BAR AREA -- 5 stars SERVICE FROM TRISH (bartender) -- 5 stars TASTE -- 5 stars LOCATION -- 5 stars PARKING -- 5 Stars I haven't dined at a Bonefish in a very long time and decided to stop at the bar for a quick bite and to catch up with some work. (FREE WIFI is a bonus too) I walked in and was really quiet, but felt clean. You know what I mean..... felt like you could sit anywhere and just feel comfortable. Anyways, Trish greeted me right away at the bar, put my order in, presented my food and let me be. She was able to read body language and handle all her guests in the same manner. I have never had the sashimi before BUT will go back JUST FOR THIS! Yummy. Ginger potstickers are strong in aspect to the ginger flavor, but really tasty! Crab cakes are crab cakes, yet these were cooked very well. Not too soft or hard! All in all, the restaurant is very easy to get to and find parking. Plenty of other options inside plaza as well to walk around to. Next time, I'll sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Great for all occasions honestly!

This ended up being such a great place and experience that we came back a second time on the weekend - and they were still able to seat our group of 8 pretty quickly despite being very busy. Amazing. The stone crab was allegedly delicious and was ordered a second time on our return. The first night I had the island rice bowl with jerk chicken. It was lovely and I ate every last bite. The rice itself was a bit bland but the flavors around it were great and mixed in with it to make a yummy combo. Any time I'm outside of Wisconsin I try to order an Old Fashioned, but this was definitely not their skillset. It came out tasting like watered down bourbon in an orange slice and a red cherry. So the next time I looked to something else. There were no great looking drinks with brown liquor, so I tried the sangria happy hour (literally a 24/7 happy hour). It was better than most sangrias I've ordered in restaurants so I was content with my choice. Multiple people in our group ended up with the jerk chicken, and they raved about it. A lot of our meals over the week were compared to Rumba's jerk chicken. We got some kind of chicken nachos as an appetizer, and oh my was it heavenly. I'm not a nachos person, but these were to die for. And the chicken on them was scrumptious. My second trip I wasn't starving, so I got the Southern Street Corn Caesar - cuz how amazing does that sound?? Well, it was basically just a Caesar salad (don't get me wrong, it was a good Caesar salad) with a few pieces of corn in it. It was indeed blistered and lovely, but it made absolutely zero impact on the salad. I expected it to be kind of the star of the dish given the name. Oh well. I added blackened shrimp to my Caesar. A great salad regardless, clean plate club once again. I thought this place was great. A casual atmosphere but still a nice setting with good food and super friendly staff. Our first night, Owen was our server and he was an absolute gem. Our second time I am pretty sure we had Tiffany, and she was also a delight. Definitely the best two servers we had anywhere during our stay in Florida. Thank you!

I said no. check came out and i was charged full priced for the frozen plate of garbage. even the "scallops" came from a frozen bag of fish. unreal. this place used to be so good with actual fresh fish.

The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! I told the two people there they should park their cars nearby so patrons would see them..... Anyway, I'm going back again, but this time I'm bringing friends!

Great selection of beers - they brew in house and have some other local ones. They also do flights which is great. Caylen was our server and he was great and knowledgeable. There's also ton of parking in the back. If you like good beers and maine style seafood this spot is for you!

We thought our waiter was high as we had to repeat how to split the checks for a party of 9 at least 5 times. The food - we had onion rings- good. Jalepeno poppers - good. (Why I gave 2 stars) The clam chowder tasted good, but was kind of gummy. Husband had fish and chips - batter lacked flavor but was crunchy. Coleslaw - flavorless. I had the broiled seafood platter with pretty much only "butter" for seasoning (I put that in quotes because the "butter" that was served with my baked potato was butter-flavored spread. So not sure if they had real butter in the joint at all). The cheese for my loaded potato was velveeta? Or cheese wiz? Unsure. The size of the piece of fish was the smallest piece of fish I've ever had, like 3 inches wide and 2 inches long. There were 5 small shrimp and 5 small scallops. The best part of my dish was the rice, but as a diabetic I could only taste a bite of it. Also, I was unsure about tartar sauce being kept on the table...isn't that a mayo-based sauce and needs refrigeration? Had I been consulted on choosing a restaurant, I would have said no to this one as I usually don't eat at less than 4.3 stars for a reason.

If you're driving, pay close attention because there's no sign on the main road. There's plenty of seating, including a beautiful area by the pier right on the water. The scenery alone makes for a great experience. My table ordered from the happy hour menu: conch fritters, fish dip, fried shrimp, fried grouper, and two Key Lime Coladas. The total came to around $58, which felt very reasonable for the quality and portions. The standout for me was definitely the fish dip, but honestly, everything was fresh and delicious. Casual! Whole fried snapper! Fried Wahoo! Local fish! Full menu, full bar…read more Hookin' Aint Easy Seafood Company is a cool house converted into a fish market and patio with a food truck and a bar with chairs with backs. There's plenty of umbrellaed tables and picnic tables. They have a full menu of apps, seafood, and burgers. Their whole fried snapper is one of our favorite fish, and Hookin' serves a generous serving, perfectly tender and sweet, in a light crispy layer of coating, on a regular soft bun, with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Their Fried Wahoo is also well-prepared. We got fried, and it was tender and fresh. Both fish came with a heaping serving of hot crispy fries. You could also get either fish blackened, and you could add various veggies as sides. We ordered our food and also picked it up ourselves at the bar. Hookin' can get crowded, especially when they have a live musician, and parking can get pretty tight. It's just off I-275 at 22nd St, in St. Pete Fl east of Gulfport. They keep their social media pretty up-to-date, but we didn't track down a "regular" webpage.

I got off the bus and walked across the street and into the parking lot. It was fairly busy, and I made my way to the patio area, because outside seating only. There was a kind of tiki bar with a line where you go up and get your own alcoholic beverage any time you want. You can eat at the bar or at any of the picnic tables that you pass on the way to a kind of food truck with a window where you order your food and buy bottles of soda and iced tea from a vat full of ice. I loved the vibes right away. I got in line at the "truck". Then it was my turn to order. Well, whaddaya know, they just ran out of blue crabs! And no soft-shell crabs were available as the water they live in is not warm enough yet. But they did have one of my favorite seafood delicacies, stone crab claws, so I ordered those instead, and asked for the mustard sauce instead of melted butter. I also ordered French fries and cole slaw for my sides. And then I ordered one-half dozen raw oysters, because. I was given a little wire stand with a card inserted into the top with my order number on it, to be placed on my table. Then I sauntered over to the bar and ordered an IPA from the busy, bearded and well-tattooed bartender. If you are wearing shades you will be admonished to remove them before paying, and I saw why, as the display on the... pay thingy has excessive polarization. Next I found a good spot in the shade and sipped my beer and checked the place out. Was there music? I think so, but I can't remember! Just all kinds of folks having a good time. Two preschoolers were busily playing in the sand by the main walkway to the food line, and took up most of the path most of the time, but nobody seemed to mind. If you aren't into playing with little trucks in the sand I think there is also corn hole off in one corner. If you don't know what that is, I dare you to look it up. After not too long some plates of food showed up, and I took some pictures and then got busy. First I tried the fries, because they are best when fresh and hot, but the fries were limp and sad. I just let their little ol' hand-cut selves alone. The oysters were served on the half shell on ice, and came with nice hot grated horseradish and cocktail sauce, plenty of lemon wedges, and saltine crackers. They were excellent! Then I turned my attention to the claws, glorious stone crab claws. I noticed that I was given butter instead of mustard sauce. That didn't stop me. But what did slow me down was the lack of a claw-cracker. The claws were pre-cracked a bit, but not in a way that was helpful to get at the meat. And I need leverage to rip the joints apart as my fingers don't work like they used to, so I asked for, and received quickly, a cracker. Some of the claws were on the small side, and the meat in some of the claws was a bit soft-feeling, but it was all pretty tasty. However, they fell short of my previous experiences elsewhere, including when I cooked some at home a few years ago. The cole slaw was very good. The young guy who brought my food and cracker tool was friendly, and quite funny. The woman who took my order was also nice. The bartender was just to busy to be anything but awesome. So all in all, the food was a bit of a letdown. I will try to go back for the crabs, and I saw hush puppies in a photo, that would be better than the fries.
