If he would have done simple blood test and chest x-ray which another doctor there DID do 3 days later when we came back, it wouldn't have been misdiagnosed, but Tang was too busy and couldn't wait to get us out of his office. My husband was admitted to the hospital which they said then that if we had waited another day or so, he probably would have died. If Tang would have diagnosed correctly in the first place, my husband might have avoided all of that. Also, have had a PA tell me she wouldn't prescribe birth control (which is prescribed to me for hormone therapy NOT birth control, and I explained this to her) because it was against her religion!! Front desk says your address and phone number for entire waiting room to hear. They don't care if you get your ID stolen, obviously. They also can't handle getting medical records assembled when asked.

He said I could start treatment on the spinal decompression machine without reviewing my imaging beforehand, which I found extremely unprofessional--especially since that was what he intended to do on the first day of my consultation. He also performed tests on my spine without reviewing my imaging that I worked hard to compile and bring with me, nor did he care to ask about the timeline of my injury or surgery, which made me feel uneasy and tense throughout the visit and afterwards. The doctor was also very confusing to communicate with during the consultation appointment, often saying things that didn't make sense and difficult to follow, which added to my frustration and made me even more uneasy about proceeding with treatment. I was also concerned about how he could set the machine properly without reviewing imaging to know where to target. Later, I confirmed with the manufacturer that the areas I was most concerned about are not even directly accessible by this machine despite being misled by the doctor into thinking that they would be, which made me distrust the information I was being given even more. In addition, I was told I'd have to pay over $5,000 upfront for a full treatment package, with no option to pay per visit or try a single session first. The office staff were also difficult to communicate with, often unable to give clear information about pricing or the equipment, and seemed frustrated when I asked questions to better understand the treatment. Overall, the experience felt rushed, confusing, and focused on money rather than patient care. I left feeling anxious, tense, and very uncomfortable, and I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a careful or trustworthy provider.

I had to remind him at two separate visits I was not here for my back, but I have severe disk disease in my neck. He performed an acupuncture treatment the week before for what he thought was back pain. When I came in for my next visit he asked if my back pain improved. I was confused and said " my back", he replied " I thought you were he for back pain". He also was very offended when I told him the acupuncture treatment he did caused increasing pain and flu like symptoms for 3 days. He told me that was not possible, implying I was lying. After establishing care with another Dr. that performed acupuncture (specifically targeting my NECK) that Dr. said it is known that acupuncture can put your body into a healing crisis as your body releases toxins. I have no idea why Dr. Joseph got so defensive. I was respectful and pleasant, the exact opposite of him.
