Dr Thomas Cardiology, One of the BEST Doctors appointments I have had regarding chest issues that I have dealt with for many many years. He took the time to go over all my medical charts for the past 10+ years. He is extremely detailed oriented and very knowledgeable when providing down-to-earth explanations of your heart issues. I have better direction on where to go with my health issues. Grateful that Dr Thomas joined the team. read more

The staff are exceptionally rude from receptionist to doctor and have awful bedside manner. They treat you more as a customer than a human who just needs help. Would not come back unless I had no other option. read more

I was here Thursday night because I had a virus Tuesday night, got very sick, very dizzy, hot sweats & threw up a few times & came here Thursday night for a diagnosis & dizziness & wasn't given any medication & discharged late, about 9:30 to 10 pm. I was not told what I had contracted, the paperwork stated some kind of virus, but not specific! I ate a sandwich about 8 pm & 2 hours later got very dizzy, room spinning clockwise, hot sweats, threw up in a trashcan a few times & couldn't walk 2' or 2 steps w/o falling over! I was told to drive 90 minutes to the Tomah VA the next day, Friday, dizzy, to the Pharmacy to pick up medication! I had to go back here Friday night & last night & still dizzy! I definitely do not recommend this place & should be investigated by law enforcement & Internal Affairs! read more

Just because we need hospitals doesn't mean we shouldn't be treated like a customer. We set up a appointment for our child here to see the pediatrician we see on a regular basis because our child was sick. Due to scheduling conflict my child was seen by a family doctor. This doctor gave us no new information whatsoever on what our child was going through. When I called to complain the manager was very helpful at first, it came down to tell me that nothing was really done wrong and the doctor was more then qualified to treat my child. She said she would tell the staff from now on to tell people what doctor they are scheduling for. I told her that we wanted a pediatrician and only a pediatrician it is my choice. I said that that the appointment was a waste of mine and my insurance companies money. So now here I am stuck with a bill for a visit that was pointless. I am currently looking for a new hospital to take myself and my family to in the future. It is sad that the stevens point clinic can't even come close to the hospitality of the Wausau Aspirus. read more

Everything is so fresh, shiny and new. It doesn't have the decades of rank death & disease baked into every fiber & crevice like St. Michael's does. Aspirus also lacks all of the religious imagery adorning St. Mike's - probably because you don't get the same sense of your imprending demise & the need to get right with Jesus at Aspirus as you would upon steping foot inside of that festing plague receptacle that is St. Mike's. Aspirus is definitely where I'd take my baby if it's ever infected with a zombie walking dead virus, and is starting to smell a bit ripe after a few days. At St. Mike's my rancid zombie baby would just blend in to the rest smells, and no one would think anything was amiss... read more
