This place goes out of their way to help and get you whatever is needed. They have also ordered in medications if they don't have them in stock and are generally there the next day! I drive 2 hours round trip to have my medications filled here because I have that much trust in them. Also have a wide variety of things to purchase inside the store including Tonganoxie gear. Also, I reiterate my praise for all of the staff, not just the Pharm.D.'s - they truly have an operation that runs as smoothly as any in town, and better than most. They do answer the phones, answer your questions and will actually work to get your prescription fille, ie talking to your insurance company and your doctor. Other locations won't even try most of the time. Only down side is they don't take outside prescriptions from doctors not in their system. for the most part they always have my medication in stock and when not it's ordered and available within a day or two. They are even willing to find other Walgreens if there is a medication they don't have and need right away. Other Walgreens won't take the time to do that. Also it's nice that they have more than one person to help you which the most other stores don't.

The people working in the pharmacy are friendly and helpful too. Went in recently because I have old prescription meds I wanted to dispose of. I'd seen a drop off bin at the Lawrence location but alas, not here. I was told only some locations have them due to the cost. Walgreen's on 75th has one. I was also told to try the Merriam police station. I did but they were closed (their public hours are only Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm).
