What drew me to Courtney was a review I read that someone had cut hair way too short and Courtney worked with her to style it beautifully. That's always my concern. I say that stylists talk in a different language, and short to me is not short to any of them. And THAT'S why I started cutting my hair myself -- back in 1992!! I grew it out a bit and wanted a good cut and recommendations for me to continue cutting my hair. (Can you IMAGINE the amount of money I have saved?!!) I was concerned that any stylist I went to would be pushy, bossy, not very nice. Not Courtney! She is a doll! I was entirely relaxed through the whole process (not like I used to be!) and the result was PERFECT. She did almost exactly what I requested and wanted. Courtney is a terrific stylist but I think her greatest asset is listening. Don't hesitate to book with Courtney. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Now I can say without hesitation.. if you're looking for an extremely talented hairstylist, this review is for you I travel to KC often so I finally needed to find a local stylist. Choosing Emily was honestly a shot in the dark after researching a lot of blonde specialists in the area, but I instantly connected with her vibe and her after photos, and even more so once meeting her in person! The salon itself is adorable. The music is 10/10, which immediately makes the whole experience feel fun & relaxed. When I asked for a "sandy/beige, not too bright or yellow blonde" (lol), she completely understood the assignment. The color turned out exactly how I envisioned it. Honestly I'll probably want this shade for the rest of my life. I also really appreciate that she uses more environmentally friendly professional products. The rinse and scalp product alone will leave your scalp feeling completely refreshed! I could go on about how great my experience has been, but you'll just have to trust me and get in her chair for a consult asap! If you've been needing a sign, this is it! I'll circle back to post my own after pics

Even though it is definitely a full 8 hour day process it was well worth it. I got the hair color & extensions I always wished I had and you would think in 8 hours sitting with a hairstylist you'd run out of things to talk about, but Emily is the sweetest kindest person and so glad since my move here I did not have to kiss a single frog on hairstylists. I did my due diligence in researching the right one & looking at yelp for the best reviews and they did NOT lead me astray! She is a miracle worker & a true professional at her craft. Thank you Emily .. I look forward to a long lasting relationship together for as long as your working! God bless all of you and please!! don't just risk your hair to anyone it's not worth saving a few extra bucks. She's worth every Penney!

Zero accountability. Not a place for blondes…read more Being an avid Aveda customer for more than 20 years, I decided on Nevaeh for partial, blonde highlights to cover the beginnings of silver-grey before a big event. The stylist was very nice but it was her last day. She foiled my hair with lots of expertise and certainly knew what she was doing. However, she kept noting that she had somewhere to be (evidenced by the fact that she left the salon before I even had a chance to pay). She let me process for approximately 20 minutes which did nothing to cover my shiny grey. I called the salon after my event to let them know that my greys were blaring and that I thought it was due to a short processing time, the person proceeded to argue with me about the processing time and promised to have a manager call me back to discuss. That person never called and I ended up paying another salon an additional $130+ in less than 2 weeks of my Nevaeh appointment. I've never called a salon to complain about color before and was disappointed with the results (or lack thereof) from this establishment.
