Bonchon wings always hits the spot. IMO, wings are best around town. The wings are good size, good flavor (spicy and soy garlic), and crispiness excellent. To top it off, the host at this location (Nick) was excellent. Very personable and attentive! He represents the company very well. Keep up the great work, Nick! Much appreciated. read more

Crispy chicken every time. The flavors are good, especially the soy garlic and spicy, and the crunch is what keeps me coming back. Service can be a little slow when it's busy, but overall it's a solid spot when you're craving Korean fried chicken. read more

Wow, usually I don't ever write reviews but this one was just too outstanding!! From the kind customer service from Chloe, to the crispiness of the chicken, it checked all boxes and I will definitely be back (super soon). read more

Came back here, and as always the food was amazing! Had the yangyeom chicken wings and kimchi pork belly fried rice, so good! And the service was A+++ fantastic, especially Emily at the front of the house. She was very attentive and helpful. Would recommend 10/10. read more

My family came for my birthday and it was so good! We got the sampler, japchae, fried rice, mopo corn dog, chicken strip meal, bulgogi fries, and manduguk (dumpling soup). Everything I tasted was delicious. My favorite was the garlic soy glazed mopo corn dog. The yangneom (sweet, spicy, savory) sauce was unbelievably delicious on the chicken and potstickers that came on the sampler. Not to mention the service was so friendly and helpful. It's my first visit, but I will be back. No pics of the food because it didn't occur to us to take them after our first bite. Lol read more

First time here and thought it was delicious. Tried the chicken fried rice, bibimbap bowl with bulgogi and the fried chicken thighs (soy garlic and Korean bbq flavors). Everything was good but the friend chicken was outstanding! Perfectly crisp and the flavor was delicious. Both flavors were good but I especially enjoyed the Korean bbq flavor). Highly recommend! read more

I don't know why it took so long but we finally visited Bonchon. We ordered wings and drumsticks, BiBimBap, onion rings, and Bulgogi fries. Food was ready quickly, and once we got home, we feasted. My husband said the wings were so huge they were like condor wings. The fries and onion rings were excellent, so crispy and flavorful. We'll definitely be back! read more

First time eating here, and it was on point. Welcoming environment from Alexis and he was very helpful. Chicken was amazing, perfect crisp and crunch, got the spicy and yangnyeom (recommended by Alexis). We got a whole assortment for the family. Cucumber salad, radishes, and edamame, all were great. Kiddo got tenders with seasoned fries that got devoured. Potstickers with soy ginger are great too. Definitely recommend! read more

Service was great. Clean, easy menu, just not my thing. It was just good, ok but the sauces were just too sweet for my taste. I got the 6 piece mixed(4 wings, 2 drumsticks) $16.41 total, just chicken, no drink and a free sample size coleslaw. read more

Went a few weeks ago, and tried their kimchi fried rice. It was so mushy. It was quite gross. We even sat down and waited well over 30 mins there. They were pretty busy, but they didn't seem efficient either. Might go back to try their chicken which is probably what they're known for. read more

I have tried this place twice now and like something's better than others I don't see all the hype with the fried chicken strips /bites. They are crispy but there is a ton of coating so for me the chicken to coating ratio is off and you are mostly eating coating We like the bao buns they are a tasty little combo of ingredients Tonight also tried the fried chicken sandwich. Comes with fries - they were the best part of the meal. Chicken was dry - not enough Korean bbq sauce you couldn't taste the sauce. Nice brioche bun but the chicken was also stringy - maybe just a bad piece I know they have no control. The fries were crispy and tasty but for 14 bucks it just doesn't cut it for me Bibimbap was good for being a fast version of this dish People working there have always been super nice. Really hate the 99 cent convenience fee for ordering online. Online ordering is easier for the restaurant and helps me make sure there is no miscommunication - just build all these miscellaneous fees into your pricing or How About getting rid of these junk fees all together . You only find out it's added if you click because it's lumped in with taxes etc Also it's part of the cost of doing business I just don't get the hype read more

Can I have some Bulgogi with my Tacos????? Very disappointed. Huge cold flour shells. On the inside, a thick bed of lettuce, sprinkled with Bulgogi as garnish, then topped with a mound of coleslaw. Ugh. I like coleslaw but dang! I scooped most of it off leaving a hollow flour tortilla and barely any Bulgogi (none was taken off with the coleslaw). So disappointing to have allllll this filler with remnants of meat. Feels and taste like I had a coleslaw and lettuce burrito. Also, I asked for wasabi ranch instead on regular ranch, he said he would just give it to me on the side. But I was charged...smh. With all the slaw I didn't even use either ranches. read more

Came in hungry and left stuffed with leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Hunny and I shared the Seoul sampler and an order of bao buns (pork belly). OMG! We're big eaters and this was a TON of food and every...single... item on that tray was DEE-licious! AND... the prices were so incredibly reasonable. On top of that, the staff (Joon) was super sweet. I'm so glad that this joint is here and wish that there were one in Pasadena! The menu is so great but the food is even better. If you are in the mood for some solid Korean food don't hesitate to check this place out. Food and service is top notch. Can't wait to come back read more

The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. We ordered the 8 piece chicken strips half soy garlic and half Korean bbq. The sauces were very flavorful but the chicken was a little disappointing. I was expecting more of a crunch and instead had overcooked pieces of chicken. We also ordered the vegetables potstickers, onion rings and seasoned fries. These three items were very tasty and would get again. Lastly, we ordered the fried chicken bao buns. The ingredients in the bun were very fresh and the bao itself was very fluffy and good. The only thing was we were confused to find small pieces of chicken that probably are used in the fried rice in the bao. For the price of the bao buns we were hoping to actually have fried chicken in them as advertised. I was really looking forward to trying this place and was a little bummed out that this was our food experience. read more

I come here all the time and it's one of my all time favorite restaurants! They have a big variety of dishes and my favorite is the bulgogi bibimbap or the kimchi pork belly fried rice. All their dishes are packed with flavor and leaves you fully satisfied! All the chicken is amazing as well. Super crunchy with many different delicious flavors. I highly recommend!! The staff is always so friendly too. Especially Chloe who helped me out the last time I came. She is so sweet and helpful. I had a good experience with the one in Massachusetts, so when this place opened up, I thought I'd give it a go. When I got there, we were greeted promptly and we were able to place our order with no issues. The chicken was good. I ordered the garlic version and the spicy version. They're both just as I had remembered them. Even my parents liked them. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I will be back to this place if I'm in the area again. read more

My wife and I ordered two meals, one boneless meal combo and one strips combo. Sat down and maybe 5-10 min later my wife got her order of the boneless wings meal. She went ahead and started eating her food because it was starting to get cold. Maybe 15-20 min pass and she finished her meal, BUT I still haven't got mine (5 piece strips combo). People were coming in ordering, getting their food, to go orders were getting picked up etc, and I still haven't got my food. I finally get up to ask how much longer and girl at the front said they were waiting on the strips and it shouldn't be much longer. Less than 10 min pass and she comes out with my "strips" (I'll attach a photo). Don't order "strips", go boneless. read more

July 2024: so excited to see this in the LA area! Korean wings are soo delicious!! made to order and very crispy! I recommend trying the Soy Garlic. Seasoned fries are just as good ! We ordered more wings than we could eat -16 piece but plenty to have later. If you are looking for spicy wings those are also amazing! Leave room for dessert!! We tried the Korean donuts and they are so soft and yummy!! Location is off the freeway and in a big shopping center with plenty of parking. Location is nice, clean and has big booths and smaller tables. Service was friendly and pleasant! Thank you! Definitely will be returning to order more wings!! read more

Went back for the second time. The best deal I highly recommend is their K-Meal ToGo for $39.99....feeds 4-6 people. Comes with 4 drumsticks, 12 wings, 2 sides....i chose coleslaw and house fried rice. Chose half & half spicy and soy garlic sauce. They were all very tasty. I wish fried rice and coleslaw sides were larger in this meal. Sides were only enough for two people... Other than that...friendly service, great taste, and good vibes! Spicy is really not spicy....so don't be afraid to order it. read more

Great service. Joon was very helpful, kind and quick with our order. I really recommend this place :).

This place is so good! Every sauce flavor they have for the chicken is good. My family specially loves the spicy one. I love that their chicken is always crispy even when the sauce is on them. I do also recommend their donuts for dessert. Their Japchae is my personal favorite, I've tried glass noodles at other places and I wasn't a fan, but Bonchons noodles are delish! Service is always great, I've got to mention their worker Noah because he's helped us with our order several times when we've gone and he has always been very kind, and on top of things, always gets our order right. Food is great, workers are kind, and orders have always been right. what else can you ask for? I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Bonchon - Wings and tenders - Korean Near Me - Stevenson Ranch, California

Ordered (2) 8 piece wing meal. Chicken wings were big bulky fatty probably hormone grown. I not an organic food Nazi but there's no way I could eat the wings. Once I got past the pancake batter, I had to sort through the fat to find the meat. Out of 8 wings, 2 were warm, the other 6 were cold. There was no "crunch". Like I said, imagine a pancake or waffle that was a bit crispy when fresh but then got cold a soft/soggy. Thats what the outside of the wing was like. The sauced was barely brushed on. I was so dissatisfied with this Korean fried chicken. What a disgrace. The only good thing about my meal was the cucumber wasabi ranch. Also, they need a kids meal. read more

Here for the soft opening and this is already one of the best places to eat in Stevenson Ranch right off the bat. Quick check-out, knowledgeable cashiers, great customer service, and their manager Ken makes sure that everyone is having a great experience on opening day. I chose the K-Meal To--Go and it was way more than enough for our family with leftovers. The fries and korean street corn were excellent side suggestions. We'll definitely be here again to try everything on their extensive menu. I will keep supporting and I hope other similar businesses come to our community to make Stevenson Ranch less of a foodie desert. read more

Bonchon is my go to for Yangneom but they make a good 1-2 punch with bb.q in town as well. Bonchon can be a little more economical than bb.q on the chicken and they have more variety with the street foods. Bb.q has more chicken flavors and cooks crispier. Depends what you want. I appreciate the server verifying my order info, not just taking my word for it and handing me the food read more

I don't want to be harsh. So let me give you the positives. The employees were sweet, and they did their jobs well. Now, this place isn't the traditional BonChon that I know and love. This place is a franchise. So don't expect that full classic taste and quality that you're used to (if you're familiar with the restaurants) The chicken quality isn't the same and you can definitely taste it in the meat and feel it in the texture. It's not that top quality that I've known and loved for years. It's close to my house so I really wanted to love it so I wouldn't have to make the drive to the SGV, but unfortunately I would 100 make that drive just to get the quality. I will come back again just to give it another chance, because it's still fairly new, and I don't want to just judge it on one experience, but I'll have to give it some time before going back. And yes, it feels like they're charging an arm and a leg and it's definitely not worth it. read more
