Everything fit in one dryer, so I put all my laundry together for 60 minutes, but the clothes were still damp after an hour. So I split it between two machines and gave them an extra 30 minutes each and that took care of it. Lesson: don't put too much in one dryer even if it has the space. They have speakers throughout the laundromat continuously advertising that there is ozone in the water as a disinfectant. Over and over, the whole time you're there, alternating English and Spanish. That was kind of annoying.

Fry's is across the street if you want to purchase detergent. There is also a d.i.y. car wash next door. It did not have clear instructions where to put the soap and fabric softener on at and I found out I put them on the wrong slots so my stuff came out smelling not that clean. It did needed more quarters but there is no Jarret machine to get more so I had to go back home to get some. There are no restrooms or sinks to wash your hands and all they have is a cooler in the building that doesn't cool well so it is hot in there. You crumbled it up into a ball and want me to pay you to dry cleaned it. That treatment (by a manager no less) tells me to stay far far away. They obviously don't care about quality garments!

I've also had them replace zippers on vintage bags for me as well! They are a cash only shop, which I completely understand! I'm sure this helps reduce costs as credit card fees have skyrocketed. If you don't hear from them after the estimated time I would recommend giving them a call to check on your items or stopping in because they are a high volume shop!

I apparently then made the giant mistake of indicating I had found him on Yelp after an east side cobbler had closed at the end of Dec 2025. Out of sheer curiosity I asked him if he might be gluing them and how much it would run. He then put away the receipt pad and went on a (not-yelling) but diatribe about how I know everything and can do this repair myself. I was really dumbfounded (as was the guy behind me who simply shrugged). I assured the cobbler I had no clue what to do and would really like to have him fix these. He refused. I have no idea what part of my encounter set him off but, word-of-warning, don't say whatever I did I guess!
