I have truly enjoyed living in this south side Corning apartment. My ground floor one-bedroom has been convenient and comfortable for me. The building is never noisy, and having laundry facilities on site makes everyday life so much easier. One of the best positives has been the landlord who is extremely communicative, reliable, and even interested in cooperating with tenants if things catch them off guard along the way. That kind of understanding is rare, and it does make a big difference. It was a wonderful experience for the entire 3 years my wife and I lived there The property was peaceful and quiet, and the grounds were always neat, and decorated nicely for each season. We always felt safe at Bonady Gardens, and enjoyed our neighbors. If you like being outside, it is nice having the option to have a balcony. The owner is easy to reach by phone or text and it was comforting to know maintenance lives at Bonady in case we needed anything. Dont do it Lucinda, is disrespectful an unprofessional if you ask her explain something or dont agree with her she got an attidude she claims to care bout yiu an ur family but doesn't she refused me adding someone to my lease bc I was upset she was going to raise my rent for now reason when she said I could add anyone at anytime n never mention the rent would go up.. N when I try talking to her why upset about it she acted like child n just refushed me to add them on lease an for anyone else to move in.. Also she will quilt u into signing the lease in the 1st place, when your unsure about claiming her appartments go fast.. N will pressure you into signing.. On top of that she will not most likely give u your deposit back no matter what you do.. So just save yourself the headache find somewhere else to live your can thank me later read more

NO STARS!!!!!! Please please, please , avoid this place at ALL costs! Especially if you are over 60 as there is nothing but concrete stairs and washers and dryers only in the basement, are expensive and half the time do not work. This place is NOT up to date at all. No central air, no W/D hookups in the apartment's, parking lot is a mess, rugs and walls not maintained. Landlord is ONLY out for the money. Loves you until you are done paying and then it is a struggle to get your money back. Nitpicks everything even though her places are all outdated and NOT worth the money. I have never seen anything like it in Corning. Very disappointed but as I never give reviews, I felt I needed to after my 91-year-old mother was almost swindled out of her deposit by the money-grubbing landlord. It is worth paying a little more to NOT rent here. Next stop is the Corning Leader to do an expose on the property! read more

Lived at Bonady's for 5 years. I definitely enjoyed my time there. My two-bedroom apartment was very big and bright, with lots of natural sunlight. The carpet was very nice and lots of closets/storage space as well. Lucinda (the landlord) was always very personable and service was excellent. Lucinda is a terrible landlord. Very offensive, rude, and unpleasant. Made the moving out process an awful experience. Does not address issues in a timely manner. Very overpriced and small, dark, old apartments. If I could do it again, I would NEVER have moved here. read more
