We asked for candles but it didn't help much, so we transferred to the other side since it looked like there were fewer flies. While eating, I was fanning our table almost the whole time so my lola and sister could eat properly. My lola is a senior, so she couldn't really keep shooing them away. It was honestly uncomfortable even the CCTV could show how chaotic our table looked just trying to eat in peace. After eating, I spoke with the manager to share my concern. He explained that they already do regular fumigation and use traps, which I appreciate. But he didn't apologize or acknowledge the hassle of our experience. I suggested maybe raising it with the Clark management team for wider fumigation because the problem might be beyond just their area. Lastly, when I mentioned I had my dog, the manager said I should've just left my pet in the car which was disappointing to hear. It's not safe to do that, and it felt like they don't really care much about pet owners even if we're following the outdoor-only rule. The food is great, but the outdoor dining experience really needs improvement. Cleanliness and comfort are just as important as taste especially since flies can carry diseases.
