She curled and curled some more. She sprayed it. She curled more, she did an incredible job! I was going to a wedding and it stayed the entire night. Which was like almost 8-10 hours! The hair saloon was super cute I love all the natural light and open area. The chairs were super comfy. The girl in the front provided coffee and got it ready. She was super nice! Madison at BB 63 is a life saver!…read more I had recently decided to try a new salon (since my regular gal got crazy busy over at Lemongrass), so I went to a one-man salon on Magnolia, because he had great reviews! Unfortunately, although the guy was incredibly sweet, I asked him to give me a natural blonde balayage (that would fade well since I can't afford to go every month) and I got super chunky, brassy orange highlights. It looked like I had let my hair grow out for months, even thought I had just left the salon and paid nearly $175 (that included a hair cut as well, which he actually did really well so I can't complain about that). I was going to ask him to fix it, but he kept gushing over how "incredible it was" and how much he loved it, so I felt it would have been really awkward for me to say how much I hated it. So, immediately after I left, I frantically called around to other salons seeing if they could fit me in so late in the day, and most said no. Then I called BB 63, and Madison answered and told me to come in as soon as I could. Long story short, she took what looked like 3 months of new growth with chunky highlights and turned it into EXACTLY what I wanted. Needless to say, she now has a customer for life!

I usually don't have specifics in mind when I go for a haircut besides keeping my bangs because I want to trust their expertise. Tiffany seemed boggled by me not having a specific direction. I think because of this, she gave me a very mediocre haircut. There wasn't any flair to it. She also didn't ask me how I wanted my hair styled. Overall she didn't seem very personable or confident in her skills. In the end, I felt that I overpaid for a very basic haircut. Another con was receiving text reminders for appointments I never made several months after the original appointment. I called to let them know, but I continued receiving the texts. FYI This seems to be more of a color salon. P.s. this review was long overdue and the stylist that I had no longer works there so I might try again

Stopped in on the chance I might get to consult with someone about my hair frustration. Kathy took the time to listen, ask questions, and make suggestions. Not pushy - really helpful! I ended up with a haircut I truly like. We discussed next steps, other options, and there was no pressure. She even texted me pics the next day of options I might be interested in for color. I found a salon/hairstylist I can absolutely recommend to others. (Not to mention they offer skin, nail, and massage treatments. It's the full package, including great customer service.)

Megan has done many cuts and colors and every time I've shown hey a picture of what I want, the results are even better than the pic! Today I was getting my hair done and noticed they'd added a nail tech. I needed to get my nails done but was skeptical because I'm very picky. Megan recommended I try him out and ALAN was exceptional!!! He does a lot of powder dip but I just wanted a polish manicure and he was incredible. I chose a gorgeous polish for New Year's and he showed me this amazing thing called the cat eye effect (apparently this is getting popular but I had never heard of it) and it's gorgeous.
