Stumbled into this restaurant near the hotel we stayed in Venice. Surprising great ambience and fairly packed weekend evening in suburban Venice. Pretty quick service with pleasant serving staff and great tasty Indian dishes. We ordered three curries- kaali daal, paneer butter masala and navratan korma..all were very tasty and fresh. It got very late 9.30-10pm by the time we finished dinner and staff helped get a cab ride to hotel as this part of town gets really quite after 9. I love Italian food, but after eating it for 2 weeks, I needed a break. I LOVE Indian food and was excited to find this place. That being said, my experiences with Indian food are limited to Los Angeles (and nearby regions), San Francisco (and nearby regions), New York, and Michigan only. I've never been to India. Food: delicious!!! One of the best I've had. Not sure if it was due to my relief for non-Italian food, my hunger, of excitement of finding Indian food, or just simply great food. Maybe a combo of all of the above. Service: it was a little slow when my mom and I went for dinner. service was fast and food came out relatively quickly. Waiters are very attentive. To the point that it felt a little awkward because a group of them were standing near our table and almost eyeing/watching us. It's probably because they had nothing else to do since they were not busy when I went (waiters said they are usually busier). Parking: not applicable. We walked from our hotel. Best non-italian food in Italy! The food here was tastier than many indian restaurants out there. Ask them to make the food in indian style (if you can handle the spicies). Definately try garlic chicken tandoor kebab, chicken Tikka masala and garlic naan. read more

Good food and price. Had chicken biryani, lamb korma, and Punjabi samosas. The samosas were cold. Fast service. Food wasn't spicy at all which could be a turn off for someone who expects that of Indian food. They charged for water and cover separately, 2 euros each. read more

Went to get take away from this restaurant, staff to 10min to get order and I asked him that make it take away suddenly there was a group arrived and that guy on counter told me that I had to wait 30min at least cauz the group arrived, wow that mean the mean there is no respect for customer rather then €€. read more

We went for lunch and a tour bus was there with passengers eating. The staff seemed a lil stressed bc of the large volume of people. Service was kind of slow but the food was delicious. We had the lamb chops and garlic chicken. The decor was very appealing. read more

The place was not great at all. The service was bad. The waiters were arrogant. They would not respond even after they saw you requesting for something. They took too long to get the order when more than half of the restaurant was empty. They would charge euro 1.50 per person to sit there and eat but they would not even turn on the AC for you. We were tourists there, but as soon as a local came by - they turned on the AC for them. Felt a bit discriminated. We ordered Dal Tadka (Yellow Daal) which wasn't upto the mark. The size of naans and rotis was tiny - not even good for 1 person. read more
