Close to the bus shelter so decided to eat here. What a treat. Food and service was outstanding! Lamb madras was perfect.

Very good Indian food. Arrived and a bit Leary as there were only two people sitting in. We stayed…read moreand gave it a try. Don't be alarmed if you get there early and are all alone within 30 minutes there was not a seat to be had. And when we left people were waiting!!! We ordered the Mura likka Maknanwaala which was a great chicken curry in a tomato butter sauce. It was accompanied by a great saffron rice. The flavors were perfect. Tender chicken and a great little spice. The naan that we arrived was fresh, warm and soft. Great with the chicken curry. Order also consisted of an order of the tandoori grilled Lamb Chop in a Masala sauce. The presentation was nice. However, think the lamb chop could have been seared a bit more. No tandoori taste. The chops had much more fat that could have used the searing to make them better. Would not order them again. Would definitely return and order the other things we did. Service was a bit slow but very nice and friendly. Recommend if you need some Indian food.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and happy to guide you through the various selections on the menu. And there's plenty to choose from! The waiter recommended the chicken curry, and it was the best I've ever had. Amazing flavors with just the right amount of heat. The garlic Naan was to die for! I have no doubt that I will be coming back here while on this 8 day visit to this amazing town.

I almost gave them 3 stars because I LOVE my wine. I asked for a Syrah that they didn't have so I switched to a Pinot Noir. I asked them they'd opened it, it was yesterday. Didn't bother me. However my wine was hints of vinegar that says- you opened the bottle and left it at room temperature that wasn't cold to store it well. When I pointed it out midway to my host- he quickly offered to replace my glass with a new opened bottle. Man that wine was so much better (even though it wasn't aired out). The hospitality in understanding how wine changes a meal for me even though the people serving wine here aren't wine drinkers is admirable. Coming back to the food- delicious flavors, every entree shines. The tandoor roti was smoky goodness made to perfection. A single roti comes equivalent to 1.5-1.45 rotis of other restaurants so having a bang for your buck is critical. I walked in thinking I'll eat a quarter of roti and here I am wiping my plate clean. Absolutely great!
