Dear reader
You could rely on the Bombay Brasserie if you wanted OK food at a reasonable price. But this view changed after tonight's experience.
Whilst there were a number of waiters/staff present we had a to find a waiter to take our order - this is never a good sign.
We ordered and when the food arrived it was awful; the lamb dansak was only OK, the lamb Dupiaza was tasteless, the meat was quite tough and had large chunks of onions which were 'as stated' not fried, the 'motor ponir' (cheese and peas) has no cheese at all. We also ordered a garlic naan which had no garlic?!. When the dishes were taken away at the end of the meal, you provided us with hot hand towels which smelt of sweat.
Finally, we had to find a waiter again to ask for the bill. Terrible!
Overall the quality of the food was quite poor, tasteless which did not represent good value for money. The restaurant was not that busy so we were also quite disappointed with the service provided. I do not recommend you visit this restaurant. read more
