Sheekh Kabab, Kheema Naan and Mango Lassi
Michael N.

Moved down south a couple of years ago and finally found an Indian Restaurant that's as authentic as the ones I've been in around the world!! Buffet is only on the weekends in the off-season but the menu is full of tasty options. Mango Lassi was a great pairing for anything spicy. I'll definitely be back!!

Butter Chicken

The food is 10/10. The butter chicken is the best and will literally have you coming back for more. Although this dish is not on the menu I highly recommend the Gobi Manchurian. The leftovers reheated taste like you're getting the meal for the first time. The service with the ambiance just gives it a homey feel to add to the comfort of a nice home cooked meal. There may be a wait but it's worth it just like Thanksgiving dinner #IfIHadATailIllWagIt

All juice left in bowl, never have I ever gotten this less of a portion paying $17.00 4 a small container. I continue to support & get this kind of service I receive after YEARS! Not sure if I'll be coming back smh. Went to Atlanta Ga & received beyond one serving and much worth the price don't think I'll refer anyone going forward.

The bread is so good. I live the peas and cheese as well. It is one of my favorite places to eat at the beach.

Delicious food! It is one of my favorite places at the beach. The bread is so good. The peas and cheese over rice is so good. The eggplant and butter chicken are great as well.

Mutton Rogan Josh

Whether you have never tried Indian food, or we're brought up in Mumbai, this is a great place to great authentic Indian. Buffet or family style. Even the fussy eaters and reluctant meat-and-potatoes were forced to admit they enjoyed the experience and will be eating more Indian in the future. The tables and resturant were vey clean and the waiters had masks and we felt very safe. Waiters were fluent in english and accommodated Our pine nut allergy. Make sure you try the Chili Paneer (fresh cheese with a sweet hot sauce). The saag paneer (creamed spinach). Naan ( flat bread) with sweet and savory chutney (think Indian salsa)z Then try the Mutton Rogan Josh (A lot like texas chili) over rice, butter chicken (creamy tomato chilli that is a little sweet) and/or chicken tandori or tika (a dry rub chicken cooked at high temps). And, when the damn COVID is gone, id definitely try the buffet so you can try it all and find out what you like and, honestly, don't like. You are on vacation, try something different tonight!

Upon…read moredoing research, there really isn't much choice when it comes to Indian food in Myrtle Beach, as there's 2 places that have been around for years, but only seem to have mediocre reviews. Google reviews for Ginger Garlic seemed great, so decided to roll the dice with them, and am glad I did. The owner/waiter was super friendly, and explained that they had just opened in August 2024. The interiors are a bit plain looking and the walls could use a bit more decoration, but are otherwise welcoming and clean. A great selection of Indian music was playing in the background to add to the atmosphere. We went with vegetable pakoras, palak paneer, paneer butter masala, & a naan. All the food items were spiced just right, freshly prepared, and were tasty, vastly exceeding my expectations for a Myrtle Beach area Indian restaurant. We also had for dessert rasmalai and gajar halwa, and a masala chai. They also hit the spot (neither of the desserts were too sweet) and were the perfect way to end a delicious meal. Service was attentive and seemed genuinely appreciative of our business and feedback. Even though this restaurant is newer than the more reviewed Indian restaurants in the area that have been around for years, I'm glad I went here as the cook here really knows how to serve up good food, and they're doing all the right things to establish their customer base, setting the bar higher in the Indian food game in the area. I'd definitely recommend Ginger Garlic to others looking for fresh and tasty Indian food in the Myrtle Beach vicinity.

What's with Indian restaurants and their lack of staff? I have seen this trend throughout the coast and it irritates me, waiting for simple items like napkins, or water or if I have to order again- in short service was terrible I have seen that they declined customers because the tables were not cleaned. Anyway, we ordered- * Egg fried rice: simple yet tasty * Chili chicken: indo Chinese style dish which was good- 4/5 * Chicken biryani: well, it's not a typical biryani (like dum cooked or any other variance), it's more like chicken pulav (gravy mixed with rice type)- but it was sumptuous. 4/5 They have spicy levels up to 10 and I choose 8. Surprisingly, the food was good, no doubt about that. But service/parking disappointed me Parking: there are only 6 spots and it was full, I am not sure what to do if you don't find parking as it is on main road so street parking is not an option either Overall 3.5/5

I have suspected for a while that most Indian restaurants are getting their food premade from somewhere else and are just hearing it up. Bombay did not give me that impression. The food actually tasted different from most Indian restaurants and I really liked it! We started with the lamb samosas which had a bit of spiciness to them that liked. I had a lamb vindaloo, medium spice, and it was just right (I usually get "Indian hot" but wasn't in the mood for that tonight). Two of my kids had chicken curry, a third had butter chicken. We shared butter naan and Kashmiri naan. Mango lassis around the table. Everything was really good and tasted fresh, and didn't come off as pre-made. Food was a little slow to come out but I can tell it's a family place with only two people there tonight so I don't mind. My kids really liked the food here, it was the first time my youngest had Indian food and he is a big fan now. There is also a small Indian grocery attached which is worth checking out as well. J.Ja

I paired my last piece with some of the kulcha and just wow. The kulcha had a nice garlic flavor and you can't go wrong with melted cheese. Lamb vindaloo was delicious, not as spicy as I was hoping for but it was a good spice level for the others who have a more mild palette.
