Horrible experience!! Dr. Seretis should lose his license!! I went here with tooth pain last…read moreOctober 2025 and was told by Dr. Seretis that I would need a root canal my very first. Little did I know what a nightmare this would spiral into. Before he even started he mentioned drinking baileys in coffee as he belched it up, I should've known better and left right then and there. After the surgery (which took numerous times to numb me) I was seemingly fine but when the crown came in that's when things went south fast. The first crown I told him it was way too big to fit. Instead of pulling it out and agreeing with me he insisted it should fit and instead sanded down my perfectly healthy top teeth that I will now need crowns for. It took over 6 visits to finally receive a crown that fit and even then it looked like a freaking marshmallow! I cannot believe he thought this passed as good work at let me go home!! This is insane for how much I paid, I received below suboptimal work! The other staff that works there were very nice and apologized to me repeatedly due to all the screw ups but there is no taking any of this back. My teeth which were once perfect are now permanently ruined! After a while my crown started hurting, I ended up not going back for fear of further risking tooth destruction. I later went to 2 different dentists to get second opinions bc my crown was hurting so bad. They both literally told me the same thing. Turns out micro instruments had broken off deep in my tooth and along with the gaps he left in the crown it was a perfect recipe for an abscess. My top teeth were sanded down to the dentin, (the yellow part as you can see in the pics). Both other dentists said they couldn't save the crowned tooth and I would need an implant to fix it, and crowns on the teeth that were sanded down. Now on top of the bill I'm still paying Seretis, I'm also paying off the start of a long road for an implant. 8 months for this to be completed due to Dr. Thomas J. Seretis's negligence! Please if you value your teeth do not go to this butcher! Shame on you Dr. Seretis! You told me you love being a dentist but hate mean people, well now I see why so many people are mean to you!

I have referred several friends and they're all impressed by the wait times for appointments (I've never waited - seriously lol) and the overall feel of the staff. Good conversation keeps the appointments fun and getting in and out makes keeping them as my dentist though I moved a hour to Chicago feasible. It's hard to find a practice that you feel is looking out for you versus their bottom line/get insurance claim happy but these guys are stellar. Try them out and then head next door for El Jimador for lunch while you're at it haha!

I used to get to pick a toy from the chest, and we have been visiting this office so long that my kids have outgrown the toy chest! Drs. Kreuz and Duffner are the kindest, friendliest dentists. They stay up on current dentistry and are conscientious about your comfort---let's face it, dental work isn't always fun. Dr. Duffner was great even when my kids were little. One of my girls needed to sit in my lap for her first cleaning! ALL of the hygienists are great, and many of them have been there for years. Highly recommend these guys.

I go here for cleanings every 6 months because of him and his friendly, courteous and gentle staff. I say gentle because when it comes to your teeth and gums, it can be a painful experience. But not here, Doctor Duffner, always tells you your prognosis and speaks to you in a friendly manner and is not condescending at all, like other dentists, and is always concerned that you do the right thing to keep your teeth healthy and clean. His staff is also very friendly and gentle when it comes to the cleanings. I've had a couple of cavities removed and some teeth capped here and continue to come here for cleanings and checkups. If you need a dentist, you need to go here. I'm only rating 4 stars because when I went in to get my filling at first, I had the Doctor Who had a busted blood vessel in his left eye. He seemed to be under stress. When he did my tooth it looked like SpongeBob. It went by quickly he seemed to be in a rush to get me out of there. Being an advocate of my health, I did request for him to shorten it some more because my tooth was clearly wider and larger than the left tooth. He did just that. And asked me to bite down, I bit but my bite felt different. He said that my bite should adjust. So I went along that weekend and I tried to eat later that day, and it was very hard for me to eat. I tried to speak and say certain words, but my mouth couldn't form it. This is just from two teeth getting done. It was uncomfortable. I called them and complained because there was too much composite on my teeth and I couldn't function properly. So I went back in the following week and Dr. Hannah took care of me. They shaved down my teeth some more so that my mouth could close properly. It worked! I have been extremely pleased since then. I am happy they were able to see me again and fix everything. All in all if the doctors are under stress, they shouldn't be at work and they should never try to rush people out of there. I appreciate the doctors that I've had there that take their time and accommodate me patiently.

Consider this: the doctor did not even examine my son, and now she is telling me that he needs an X-ray or the doctor may reject to see him. What an excellent technique to take as much money as possible without even looking at the issue.

I don't know all the different types of X-rays they offer -- I just came in for my cleaning. The issue isn't the $48, it's the lack of transparency. No pre-treatment estimate, no discussion, just a surprise bill. Patients deserve honesty and the chance to make informed decisions. Just make sure you ask for a pre-treatment estimate before getting any work done at this office.
