Dr. Moody tried to fit a permanent crown on my implant and tried several different sizes. He commented that if the last one didn't fit he would have to special order one. He left me with the last one and said it was good. I was there in March of 2024 for a cleaning. I told his associate the implant was hurting/ bothering me. He said 'Good news! It's NOT infected." Yet he gave me an antibiotic rinse to use for 3 months. Then I came back in May to have new crowns put on when Dr. Moody said, " your implant is severely infected. We have to pull it all out, post and all." That experience was sooo traumatic, I hadn't been back to a dentist in 2 years. They tried to get me to sign papers for payment before pulling it. I refused stating it was their fault. They agreed not to charge me. They were supposed to fill another tooth that day, which they did not, but chMarge's me anyhow. Then. The dentist I spoke with told me to try to apply for these other state benefits. When I looked into it, the particular plan, he told me to try to cut is only for people who are medically, frail or addicts. I am neither and I don't appreciate the dentist. Assuming I was either of those. Needless to say, I canceled all my appointments. I have not gone back.

I have referred several friends and they're all impressed by the wait times for appointments (I've never waited - seriously lol) and the overall feel of the staff. Good conversation keeps the appointments fun and getting in and out makes keeping them as my dentist though I moved a hour to Chicago feasible. It's hard to find a practice that you feel is looking out for you versus their bottom line/get insurance claim happy but these guys are stellar. Try them out and then head next door for El Jimador for lunch while you're at it haha!

Their staff is extremely friendly and nice and accommodating. I especially like the front desk lady with the brown hair and glasses. She is phenomenal. She is on top of it! I'm only rating 4 stars because when I went in to get my filling at first, I had the Doctor Who had a busted blood vessel in his left eye. He seemed to be under stress. When he did my tooth it looked like SpongeBob. It went by quickly he seemed to be in a rush to get me out of there. Being an advocate of my health, I did request for him to shorten it some more because my tooth was clearly wider and larger than the left tooth. He did just that. And asked me to bite down, I bit but my bite felt different. He said that my bite should adjust. So I went along that weekend and I tried to eat later that day, and it was very hard for me to eat. I tried to speak and say certain words, but my mouth couldn't form it. This is just from two teeth getting done. It was uncomfortable. I called them and complained because there was too much composite on my teeth and I couldn't function properly. So I went back in the following week and Dr. Hannah took care of me. They shaved down my teeth some more so that my mouth could close properly. It worked! I have been extremely pleased since then. I am happy they were able to see me again and fix everything. All in all if the doctors are under stress, they shouldn't be at work and they should never try to rush people out of there. I appreciate the doctors that I've had there that take their time and accommodate me patiently.

I confronted them about it and they confused to "fix" it by shoving something between my teeth which is very visible. They then chipped another tooth AGAIN!!!! It was great seeing my dentist office people there still today, I've been with them my whole entire life, but the other staff members from the other practice were super nice when I walked in. Even though it's a lot of changes to take in since they'd always had their other office, it was a really pleasant first new experience at this new location.

They were SO patient, understanding, polite, they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable through each procedure. I could never run out of nice things to say about this team. I have been worked on by both the dentists at this practice, and both of them are equally skilled, talented, and professional. Added bonus for people with social anxiety- you can even text to keep up with appointments!! This is huge for people who have a difficult time picking up the phone!
