Of course, we didn't agree and decided to go with another group for less than $80,000. Months later, after Leon knew we didn't choose him for the job, he sends an invoice for $3,800 for his "time" in preparing a proposal. We had no contract and no agreement to work with him. After our project is completed, he files a lien on our project. Wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. He's clearly a bottom feeder and can't be trusted. Stay away from him, even if he shows up at your job site unannounced.

Before knowing this, I hired him to install a sprinkler system for me and experienced numerous problems. I also hired them to do other landscaping work, and their work was terrible. Not only did they bill for extra hours, but the onsite supervisor also spent the majority of his time on the phone while an undocumented worker did all the work, which was of very poor quality, but he, nevertheless billed me for every minute of the supervisor's time here.
