Worst Bojangles I have ever been in, and I am a Bojangles fan. Front register cashier acted aloof, possibly stoned, and handled food and money without washing hands. Menu was super limited and portions were small. There was no ice in soft drink machine. It was about 9 am on a Saturday, but almost no other customers. I should have noticed this before ordering. Food was cold, pulled from line for my wife's meal. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich. Hard, over cooked, been sitting on the line. The French fries tasted terrible, old grease. The fries tasted and smelled like the restaurant. Old! Lived here in Lynchburg six years ago and it was good, not any more! The Bojangles located on Timberlake Road has employees that need customer service training ASAP. My experience tonight after working 12 hour, I reluctantly decided to pick up dinner from that Bojangles because it was on my way home. First off they told me to hold on at the drive-thru speaker, then I waited for an unusual amount of time and said hello at which point they took my order. Then I had to Wait for the to take my money at the first window, it was 2 girls standing there then I pulled up to the 2nd window and a young lady I asked her name later called Kadie handed me my drinks never said a word. I waited and waited listening to the staff talking, cursing and walking around. I finally said excuse me can I ask what's taking so long to get my order. The manager said we are short staffed and waiting for the chicken to come up. The young rude girl Kadie handed me my bag still didn't say a word. I asked for the manager and asked for the owners information because this needs to be addressed. Got home and our order was missing the biscuits that I paid for. Ridiculous just Ridiculous. Never will I spend another dime or my time at that location again. They are going to run that location into the ground if this is not addressed. read more

Nothing special. What you'd expect from a Bojangles. It seems to be a hit or miss with the food. Sometimes staff is... crazy.

Went through the drive through this morning without a single car in front. I was asked to hold on for a moment, and I waited patiently. After a few minutes, the lady asked for my order. I started to order a Cajun filet biscuit, and was rudely interrupted with "SIR, WE HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS 'NO CAJUNS'!" I guess I'm a complete Jerk for not realizing that meant Cajun chicken filets, and deserved to be yelled at after waiting patiently. I will never come back to this store. read more

Based on service and "Supreme" tenders: We went through the drive thru. We didn't receive the sides we asked for and had to go back around to get them. The tenders themselves were very odd. Very flattened? and definitely could tell that they weren't very fresh / homemade. Not good at all. I think next time I would try a biscuit sandwich, since biscuits seem to be their strong suit. At one time they had the best fast food in town, with the best food and service. Their service continues to be friendly but their prices and quality is lacking. Their biscuits come and go from great to poor and their prices are the highest in town. KFC, does a far better job at 25% lower cost. Ordering fried chicken is always a risky proposition for me. Long lines, soggy chicken, etc. With that said, Bojangles has exceeded my expectations. We've gotten chicken and biscuits several times, at different times of the dat and night, and it has always been fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The biscuits might some of the best I've ever had. Puts KFC to shame. My one knock on them is their sides: wasn't impressed with the green beans, cole slaw was just okay, and the fries, while tasty, were a tad expensive. Every time I come here the service gets worse. The food is fine but I've had employees get loud with me, talk to me like I'm less than and shove food at me through the window. Bojangles on Timberlake Road Rude kid in the drive through, chicken sandwich undercooked, portion size deliberately smaller than advertised, called me a liar when I pointed out what was said in their published online advertisements. Reported this to Bojangles headquarters, and they never bothered to acknowledge this, let alone try to fix it or apologize. There are a lot of other places to eat. read more

As I walked into BoJangles for the first time I noticed a few things. First, the darker gentleman behind the counter kindly greeted me and didn't seem at all threatening. Also, for a more "urban" type of restaurant I found the decor to be wonderfully welcome. On account of my allergies I couldn't order any fried chicken but that didn't stop me from sampling their deliciously white and fluffy buscuits. The best part? They had mayonnaise for dipping!! They used to have good customer service when they first opened but now it's getting worse every time I come. Drive through has never been so long and the service literally needs working. The Bojangles on Old Forest Rd lists the prices on their drive through menu as one thing and then you're charged something more when it's rung up. When I brought it up as I was paying I was at first amused because they charge 99 cents for one cinnamon twist and $1.99 for two twists (it's what their menu said they charge). I told the girl who rang me up it was kind of funny they charge more for the second twist than they do for the first. Found out they charge $1.09 for their twists, no matter how many you buy. I made this known to the manage who said he would need to change that. When I went back a few days later it was still the same. read more

I've recently visited this location, and I have to admit that it is nothing like it was three years ago. The store always looked clean, but the service was far from what it is now. The young lady at the counter was polite, and made sure I knew exactly what I wanted and knew all of the specials without hesitation or confusion. I have not been here in over a year, but I have to give it to this place, they have gotten themselves together and have excellent customer service, polite workers, clean looking store, and fresh fries!!
