I finally tried out Bojangles as I've been told by many people from the south that it way better than Church's chicken and Church's chicken is my favorite fast food chicken spot. I ordered the 3 pcs 1 leg 2 thighs it comes with 2 sides I picked dirty rice and Mac and cheese and a biscuit this was a special in the app. I get here my food isn't ready and the food takes forever!!! To the point I'm getting annoyed, but it is what it is I just have to wait. After another 20 mins after it took about 10 to 15 mins after me ordering and driving here my food is ready. I get back to the house and see if this food is giving what it's supposed to give. Nope! It's good, but it's definitely not better than no Church's at all. The chicken is good it was a little dry and the biscuit was soft, but it was just it a biscuit nothing special. I love church's honey butter biscuits. The mac and cheese is mid at best. You can see the picture attached the country ham was so dry it had curled up and was like leather! All of the flavor was dried out, not country ham! Actually had them three times during my visit to the area and each time was better than the last. Chicken is seasoned perfectly and the biscuits are JUST RIGHT. The service is always fast at the drive-thru and we got a large order each time. Some of the workers could have a better attitude but maybe they are very busy. Modern enough looking from what I could see inside. Highly recommend! I wish we had Bojangles up north. read more

Just no. Do yourself a favor, save yourself 30-40 minutes and go to the Bojangles on Union Cross in Kernersville. You will sit in like for 25-30 minutes before you can even order. Once they're able to the other cars will start pulling out of the drive-through and leave angrily once you finally order and get to the front and pay and go to receive your food. They'll hand you the wrong food and give you a terrible attitude about how it's just a hard day for them today. I live 5 minutes from here. Stopped by this location this morning to get a biscuit. It was the slowest service I have ever seen. The cashier would take an order, then walk away to go back to the kitchen. She would get that order from another person that was right beside the pick up counter and set the food there before lackadaisically walk back to take another single order. And repeat! Went there round 5pm. First of all I look to see Bojangle mean. It clearly say undated meau prices December 2023. For a family meal...was 19.99 for a 8 piece of chicken 4 biscuits two fixes & half gallon tea. I get there the price was 27.99. Wow what a difference so I bite the bullet & pay there prices. After they put together the fixes they come & said they only have one breast do I want a leg or thigh. This place was not busy & I came at 5pm....supper time. Well I lost it a little with the gentleman that told me they didn't have enough white meat. I call their chicken stupid! He got upset. I asked him how long was it going to take. 20 to 30 minutes. I asked for a refund. Made me mad because they didn't plan on supper guest. Maybe they can't plan ahead for people because they don't have enough people to plan for having food ready. I was wrong to call their chicken stupid & I do apologize for get upset...but I didn't raise my voice or did I was disrespect to anyone but the chicken I did call stupid. This bojangles is not good. They be messing up my fries 9/10 times. They don't be fresh and when I ask for extra seasoning on my fries they only put it on the top few. My chicken sandwich pretty much always messed up and thrown in the bag. My last chicken sandwich was burnt and cold (I'm confused as to why that is) and the chicken looked like a strip i couldn't even fit it in my mouth. I went to Bojangles on Pisgah Church Rd. I ordered on the app at 4:48pm. It was supposed to be curbside pick up. My wife and I were talking, and before we knew it, 25 minutes has past. I told her let me go and see what was going on. I got in there and told them we ordered on the app. He said here you go. Saying that really annoyed me, so I was like I'm hungry I'm not going to say anything. We ordered 8 piece dark, fries and bo rounds. We take our food home and realized that they gave us a mix of white and dark, so I called them and let them know what the problem was. They said come back and we'll fix it. We went back and I gave him the food( employees name is Jake). He told me oh ok I'll bring it out to you, I said ok thanks. We waited 35 minutes and still, no food. I walked back in and before I said anything Jake said here is your food. I was just about to bring it out there. I said you know what I would like to have my money back. The manager said hold on we can't give you your money back because it was purchased on the app, I said ok. 10 minutes past and I don't see the manager. I told Jake where's the manager because I've been waiting here over a hour. He said no you haven't I said but I have. He said you're second and the drive thru is first. I said say what? He said you're second and they're first. I said no I've been here long enough to be first and should have been first in the first place. The manager finally showed up and said here's the sheet that you'll have to fill out so you can get your money back. Before leaving, I told her Jake needed to watch his mouth. Poor service. Got us our supremes combo right away and then forgot about our 2 salads. Staff was busy cleaning since dining room closed in 15 minutes, but drive thru was open anther hour and 15 minutes. We were the only people in the place. Freezing cold in dining room and soda from machine tasted funky--they need to deep clean that and the entire restaurant. Once we got our food it was good, but we're 14 hours into a 16 hour road trip and wanted something fast, not to be forgotten and then ignored when we are looking for our food at the counter. Server did apologize and asked if she could get me anything to make up for it. I asked for a cheddar biscuit and was told she'd have to make it. I said no thanks since we didn't want to wait, plus it's 510 calories we don't need. The fries smell awful and taste nothing like bojangles fries - I had them remake a new batch only to have them turn out the same. The hamburger buns also had a weird smell. I don't know if it's the oil they cook it in or if it's just old food/dirty fryer but I didn't even feel comfortable giving those fries to my dog. I stood at the counter for 3-4 minutes watching the young man who eventually took my order flirting with the drive thru cashier. I tried to order a 2 piece leg and thigh meal. I was told that they were currently out of bone in chicken... At 6:10 pm. I was the only customer in the store and there was only one car in the drivethru. He explained that they were severely understaffed. It's happening everywhere these days. So I looked at the menu board and asked if the picture of the chicken fillet sandwich behind his head really looked liked that when made, he replied oh yes ma'am. He asked if I wanted just the sandwich? I asked if he had any fresh sides because the ones in the display were scraping bottom and the fries looked old. He said no ma'am, I need to start new of everything. Fries would take 5 minutes. So I told him just the sandwich then. The sandwich was very dark and tough. As I am leaving the restaurant, I could see the garbage overflowing, the floors were nasty along with debris. And as I was leaving the parking lot, I could see that it was also nasty. I understand they had maybe 4 employees working but there have been late nights and early mornings that I've stopped at the McDonald's down the street with just 1 employee working and they are rocking and rolling ..and CLEAN! The guy who waited on us was new and super nice but the manager who also boxed my family meal messed up the fixings. Avoid at all costs! I'm a fan of Bojangle's generally, but this one in the town I live in is very sketchy. Most recently I ordered a breast dinner (w/pinto beans and biscuit) and tea. The pinto bean order was skimpy. The breast seemed like it had been sitting for a while and the crust on the chicken tasted odd in places. At 3:00 am the next morning I developed severe stomach distress, diarrhea and vomiting which lasted all the next day. This location in particular is poorly run, unsanitary, understaffed with indifferent employees. Getting sick after eating here was the last straw for me. read more
