During my holiday visit to see my mom and sister, we went on a little Black Friday shopping spree at Boise Towne Square, and despite the large crowds, we managed to snag some great deals. The sheer volume of shoppers made walking around some of the stores a bit challenging, especially with two energetic toddlers in tow, but there are a good range of stores offered with something for everyone. Despite the chaos, the staff remained friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the festive atmosphere. While we didn't linger too long due to the crowds, our overall experience wasn't bad. I just don't think Black Friday in-person shopping is for us. read more

I purchased 3 jackets as Christmas gifts for my daughters and wife. Had an excellent experience for my first time shopping solo at this store thanks to Joel. Was told no problem to exchange if something doesn't fit right. Yesterday Dec 27th my daughter turned 13 so she wanted to exchange the jacket I purchased for her and did so for a few different items. ARI the "store manager" took advantage of my wife and daughter during the exchange and did not do an even exchange with same discount even though I was told different at the time of purchasing these items. After reading prior reviews of this establishment I think this is an ongoing process. Tell the customer one thing, but policy kicks in if you want to exchange. My wife has spent thousands at this store. We will never ever shop here again and I am returning everything my first day off of work. Customer service is a big deal to me and my company, Ari definitely needs some training in this department. Maybe just care a little bit more and that would go a long way. Merry Christmas! read more

I like this mall but it's left me disappointed that they close at 7 on weekdays. They close when everyone wants to go and yet they are open on weekday afternoons when people are at work and kids are at school. I understand they are probably short staffed, but they should reconsider what there hours are. There's many restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory that are there for the mall, but now you can't eat dinner and shop anymore. The mall's hours are making zero sense to me. read more

What an absolute cluster-eff. Okay, this "mall", which is waning of course, has a few department stores with deals because they are all going out of biz (yay millennials!) but there are no employees to help OR check our purchases. I spent 20 mins looking for a freaking employee and almost walked out when one finally appeared out of nowhere and I bought my damn snow pants. Never again. Malls are dumb. Goodburger- it is a horrible place, I ordered the food at 1:47 and didn't get it till 2:09, almost 20 minutes. It's wasn't even busy. One of the workers with split dyed hair, green and black, looked like she was stoned. And the manager was highly rude. We asked for our food and he got mad and stated "I can't do anything about it. It's getting made right now." And the food wasn't even that good. It really was not worth it. I don't recommend going there. read more

Very good mall. There is a variety of stores and many of them have great deals where customers can save a lot of money. The Vans store and American Eagle had especially good deals. I wish the food court had better options but it does not matter too much because there is a Chick Fil A nearby and the food court is a very small portion of the mall. One bad thing is the Macey's employees will get mad if you play hide and seek in the store. read more

As far as malls go, it's pretty much what you expect but the play area beats the pants off similar I've seen in various Arizona malls prior to moving here. A tree to climb and slide down with a tunnel to crawl through, a log, whimsical animals, a bridge, a boat, a mirror and more help the kids burn off energy. My only complaint is that although the play area is clearly intended for younger children, many older kids play as well - not a problem when they are polite and considerate of the little ones, but some run around like maniacs. I've seen toddlers knocked over by rowdy kids whose parents busily text away or even leave them unattended, and once I had to dive for one of my own sons before some kid jumped off a bridge and onto his head. Not cool, parents. Still, the rude and careless are a rarity. 9 times out of 10, it's a fun and safe place for children to play inside...not to mention free. read more

Still the same old Boise Mall that you've come to love and depend on. Some of the stores have come and gone, but you can generally find what you need within about 30 to 40 minutes. My recommendation is to stop at old Chicago on the way in and have a beer. Their selection is fantastic, and it makes you just a little less irritated with all the people that walk in front of you and then just stop suddenly. The employees at the Apple Store are friendly. Gentleman in the menswear department of Macy's rustled up a couple of coupons, saving us almost $60. All in all, still a good location to get what you need from several stores quickly. read more

Some things are not the best to wear in public places but if you could take out some things and customize them that would be a 5 star but you can't. If you could take out the bra pads in the Aline tanks then that would also be a 5 star but you can't. The pants are great but every thing else is meh. read more

Having been to a mall or 10 in my life, I can say Boise Towne Square is precisely what you might expect from any shopping mall. It's nicer than some, and not as grand as others. They have the major department stores as well as the other shops you would expect (Bath & Bodyworks, Buckle, The Body Shop, Sephora, Yankee Candle, Hot topic). One set up that I find quite handy is the fact that all the major cell phone companies are located in the same area of the mall. When my contract is up, I head here to get all the quotes and deals and pick the best deal of the bunch without having to run all over town. I also like that they have H&M for all the staples of any wardrobe. And, most importantly, Old Chicago for a beer when you've finished whatever mall shopping you've been required to do (I'm looking at you, Christmas) and are feeling vaguely homicidal. It's not my favorite place in the world--but it's convenient on occasion. Get to it (when you really, really cannot possibly avoid it)! read more

The Boise Towne Square is a good mall, most stores are national well loved brands. Usually, you can find what you are looking for fairly quickly with fine tuned navigation. But while navigating stores, you have to walk through a gauntlet of harassment from foreign beauty lotions and potions kiosks! I purposely will avoid Bath and Body Works and also Victoria's Secret because the kiosk is directly in front of those stores. I will go out of my way and shop said stores at the Village in Meridian. read more

I brought my kids for the first time in a year. Multiple employees were not wearing masks. People were shoving into small stores, no masks, no distancing. At this point, I am vaccinated, but my kids are not. I will not be back for a very long time again, unless basic covid guidelines are enforced or the infection rate goes way down. read more

This is a fairly large indoor mall, two stories, with lots of department stores as well as stores inside the mall. There are department stores such as JCPenney, Macy's, and Dillards. There is also a food court with restaurants such as Orange Julius, panda express, Sbarro pizza, a hamburger place, an Egyptian food place, a Mexican food place, Mrs. Fields cookies, auntie Ann's pretzels, and Häagen-Dazs. Still solid in my places to shop while visiting the great land of Potatoes! Since my last review, the parking issue has since become the thing of the past either because I was parking in the wrong place or just not as fruitful to shop there for most of the locals. In any case it's still well-stocked with a gallery of shops to fit any shoppers' wants or needs. I seem to come here for some Blue and Orange gear (Boise State) but you might find me dabbling in some of the higher-end stores too trying to get my style on now that I am a "hottie" LOL read more

Very nice (and large) mall. I've been here on two different occasions during two different visits to Boise. I've hit up all of the children's stores, as well as American Eagle, Forever 21, and Macys. Everyone is very friendly, especially the women who work at Macys. It's a two story mall...not sure what else to say, a mall is a mall I guess? As malls go, this one looks feels and tastes just like all the other malls that populate America. But as far as uniqueness, who would misspell a location on purpose other than to add that touch of class in their title...an "e" at the end of Town...is a bit pompous...that's like spelling potato with an "e" at the end (hey Dan Quayle...yeah you with the bad spelling). Is it an off day? Where are the people? Good god, are we in a recession and someone just failed to tell me? Where was I? I think I'm in OZ except my ruby slippers are made with poorly sewn sequins from poor Chinese workers and I need to find me a mall that at least has some life to it. You really get 0 stars for your service. There is no designated office to check in and get a wheel chair. When we called ahead, the lady couldn't even tell us where to get a wheel chair. All she said are there are none available. Isn't there some kind of handicap accessible law? shame on you!! read more

I've been to many malls all over the United States and I would have to say that this mall is by far the dullest. I'm not gonna lie, the mall is pretty huge but there is a lot of useless stores there. They need to step up their stores and add more up-to-date fashion stores. How bout a Media store (FYI, SAM GOODIES) Possibly sell CD/DVD's. More variety in food in the food court. The kiosk has some useless things too as well. :[ boo! Since majority of the time I go to the mall I see "teens" -- Why not create an arcade or a lounge (have a jamba juice) -- Possibly a computer cafe? COME ON BOISE! A few years back and I would have given this place 2 stars since there was absolutely nothing here besides teenage girls (and maybe pre-teens?) in tiny short skirts or guys trying to look cool and scoping out girls. Now, along with the skimpy dressed girls and desperate guys, they have a Forever 21, Sephora, Cheesecake Factory, and a Barnes and Noble so I'm pretty proud of them for stepping it up. They also redecorated the exterior with brighter colors to look more festive. Back in the day it was just a dull shade of something. I still think this mall is too small and I am not interested in too many of the stores. However, it is in a good location so you can visit plenty of stores surrounding the mall. read more

Love the Boise Mall. Had to laugh at the person who said they noticed the percentage of white people. I felt the same way when I first moved here 30 years ago... But it has gotten better with time. I am a airforce brat, and lived all over for 20 some years, so did miss that at first. There is a good selection of stores. I wish the online information was better, I couldn't tell if one of the stores I wanted to go to was open or not. Also I had a hard time figuring out where the store was, didn't they use to have electronic maps. One suggestion, for the sellers in the middle of the mall, Please don't use hard sales tactics, its really a turn off, I know they are used more in other counties, but they make me want to totally avoid the area. Avoid this mall from mid November to mid December while pet photos with Santa are going on. I saw a big dog take a dump in front of See's Candy last season, and the owners just ignored it. Otherwise, a beautiful mall. read more

Boise Towne Square is a decent mall for a day of shopping. It has your usual retail stores and department stores. This mall is pretty clean. Also it is a very secure mall, with plenty of security officers. They have play areas for children and are family friendly. I rated it 4 stars because of the food court. Several years ago it had plenty of options (DQ, Taco Time, McDonald's) but now there's seriously like 5 different Chinese/Japanese restaurants. Aside from Blimpie, a sub sandwich restaurant, which sucks compared to Subway. For outside food, there's great options. Surrounding it are Cheesecake Factory, Old Chicago, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc.). Anyways, it gets your shopping done and whatever isn't in the actual mall is usually in the Boise/Nampa/Meridian area. read more

This is the type of mall that seems perfect for seniors to walk around in, so you'd expect to see many of them doing that and indeed, several were when I went there. The floors are shiny and very clean. The mall itself is a double-decker and parking can be a bit tricky, but once inside, there's lot of space to move around in. There's little in the way of attractions for me, since it's predominantly clothing-heavy, but it's overall fairly visually pleasing. I believe there's some amusement attractions in there or something, but I wasn't there long enough to find out. It's not really quite my speed for hanging out in, as none of those attributes I described are particularly of interest to me. read more

Only mall in Boise. The mall is pretty weak in comparison to other major metropolitan areas. It takes forever for the new trendy stores to finally trickle down to the town square. Good grief, they are barely getting their first Coach store! The décor is pretty bland, could use an update. Get your basics here and shop online and out of town. read more
