I said 'I know the rules..I've been playing for thirty years...' and he continued with telling me to not join up. Retire already or go work at El Zagal if you're going to be that cranky unless you're still paying alimony which I can't imagine why someone would divorce you.

The only downside is that the driving range was closed and despite the facility being fitted with indoor simulators, we were not allowed access to these without paying a pretty hefty fee, so we had to start the day cold. Even with that, the course was beautiful! The tee boxes were well maintained and the greens were fairly well kept.

This is probably my favorite course to golf in the area. It has a nice mixture of trees, hills,…read morewater, straight-aways, and tough-angled fairways. I golf there every summer with friends in a scramble tournament and the Forest Hills is always a good host, and you can tell they truly appreciate the business. At the clubhouse, they have a 19th hole bar on the lower level and Izzo's restaurant on the top level. You're only a mile or so west of Detroit Lakes, but you can also rent rooms at the resort. There is also a small mini golf course and ice cream shop adjacent to the parking lot.
