Best avoid this company, they're cowboys. Their man turned up to diagnose faults with my boiler in my office. He deliberately went over the per half the half hour charge and then added congestion zone on top despite him having multiple jobs that day - £170 all in for 40 minutes. When I tried to pay, I explained I thought I had left my card at home and wished to pay using my phone. He immediately got aggressive and demanded the physical card or cash. Said he wouldn't leave the building otherwise. Fortunately I found the card. Told him I had been going to agree to the £1230 repair but given his attitude I had changed my mind. He sarcastically said 'oh yeah mate, of course you were' and slammed the door on the way out. Nice fella! read more

My boiler finally gave up the ghost after numerous visits by another boiler company, and I was not going to risk wasting my money again. I called boiler repairs r us and they got an engineer out to me the next day. The engineer arrived on time, and after looking at my boiler, identified what work was needed. He went to get parts, and was back within the hour. That evening my boiler was working again, and my little one was warm, bathed and all snug! I would highly recommend this company for their prompt and efficient service, thank you! It's now been two weeks and not a peep out of my now well behaved boiler. Thanks again! read more

ABSOLUTELY AVOID!! HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY The experience with the boiler engineer was horrific. He arrived do the job and began draining the system. After an hour I went out to him as he sat in his van and found him watching cartoons on his Ipad. The trickle of water from the hose was so minimal that I suggested that there was a problem and that something was wrong. He insisted that everything was fine. We waited; he drove off to get a drink and left us. Another hour passed and again we said this was not right. It took him six and a half hours before he said he could begin replacing the parts. We live in a Victorian house. We just couldn't get him to start. by this time we were trapped as we had bought parts. This is an incredible amount of time to drain a system. We recently had builders fit a new radiator in the kitchen and they did not have this problem. I asked him repeatedly if there was a blockage in the system. I suggested to him that six hours was too long, he admitted that he thought that this was not right. He just persisted. Eventually he fitted the parts, this took 45 minutes.He re-filled the system and fired up the boiler. On doing so he said we had a problem and that there was a blockage in the heating system and that we needed a power flush which he said that he could not perform. He turned the boiler off and said that we could not use it. He then left us without a functioning boiler after saying he could 100% repair it. When I phoned back on on the Monday I spoke to someone from customer services I realized that I was talking to the same man. When I asked why he was pretending to be someone from customer services called Simon when his name was Steve he lied to me and said that he carried on pretending to be someone else. Just a Joke. I have never seen anyone drag his or her heels so proficiently knowing full well the cost per half hour was mounting. I felt under duress threatened and intimidated in my own house to pay the excessive costs for this job. Absolutely do not have this company in your house. Complete rip off!!!! COWBOYS DO NOT USE!! Called out a plumber to fix my boiler that had broken down on a Thursday morning. Plumber Steven was sent to my house, after 1.5 hrs he told me the fan and ignition switch needed replacing but he couldn't get the parts, which were going to cost over £350, until the following Monday leaving me without heating or hot water for 4 days. To install these parts he estimated a further 1.5hrs. A plumber friend came round on Sunday and had a look. He got the boiler working again by spinning the fan. He told me I didn't need the new parts but the fan was quite noisy so it might improve with a newer one. Since the parts were already ordered and I'd paid a deposit of £578.03 to cover the parts and initial labour, at £65/half hour!!!! I decided to go ahead with the rest of the job. When Steven returned the following Monday I was already charged an additional hour for collecting the parts, then he proceeded to drain the system, which my plumber friend later told me was not necessary to change the fan. While this was going on he sat in his car for over 2hours at £65/half hour!!!! I questioned why it was taking so long and the obscene cost for him to be sitting around. A job that he estimated to take 1.5hrs ended up taking him 6 hrs plus the 1 hr to pick up parts a total job cost of £1,488.03!!!! To change a fan and ignition switch!!!!!! This is a real scam company intending not to fix your boiler but rip you off instead by using an hourly rate for just manipulating with the boiler and then wasting the time by calling their providers in order to give you a quote of £1,500 which was simply laughed by another boiler repairer since it was pure rubbish. Unfortunately, the police are not dealing with such fraud in this country. I gave one star in order just to post this review. Similar to the previous review i had the same experience. Extortionate call out charges. they sit in a car for 2 hours waiting for the pipes to empty. they try and fool you that you have multiple plumbing issues and therefore they need a whole day to fix them. Only after speaking to other plumbers i have realised i was totally ripped off. Steven is extremely rude and very cagey and doesnt like to be asked questions. He is not professional and not competent to do the job. He used to work for a company called al supreme plumbing and heating who were stopped from carrying out business after being negligent. steven is currently only licenced for domestic work but the authorities have been informed. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST STEVEN NORRIS WITH YOUR HOME. YOU WILL REGRET IT. He needs to be named so he can stop setting up new companies under new names read more

Our experience is that this company's service was totally inadequate and cost or recomendations wise a complete rip-off and should be avoided at all costs. Next time I would check whether they are registered with Checkatrade.com.or at least have favorable references. Very disappointed but have subsequently sorted the repair problem with a more professional company. read more

They are using your lack of knowledge to rip you off. They supposed to change one part in the boiler which took the 3.5 hours as they start to do other staff that is not related to the work they supposed to do - so they can bill you later for their time ! Waste of Money! read more

Bad experience. Charged £204 per hour to fix my boiler. Before the work started I was given an estimate of around £1,500 (including parts), so I was very surprised when they demanded £3,500 on completion of the works! The engineer refused to give me an invoice at that time, and refused to leave my flat until he had been paid in full! I spoke to head office the next day and they said the engineer had, in fact, made a mistake and the amount due was actually £700 less than he demanded. Apologies were made and whilst the boiler did get fixed I don't think £204 an hour is good value at all, and the work took 3 times longer than they estimated which shouldn't really happen with experienced workmen, so I'm afraid can't recommend their services to anyone. read more
