During my first visit, I was told, "Come back in 6 months--too many layers!" I followed that advice and returned after 6 months, only to be told, "Still one layer left--come back in 3 months!" So, I came back today, hoping for some progress, but what I received was beyond frustrating. The stylist was rude and refused to cut my hair at all. I asked for at least a trim or some shape around my face, but he outright declined. He conveyed his refusal with a statement that was dismissive and condescending, saying he wouldn't cut my hair just because I wanted something different. I live in Rome and travel frequently, making it difficult to schedule haircuts. I'm furious that he wasted my time, especially after giving him multiple chances. I've never encountered a stylist who couldn't create a hairstyle or a transitional look for long, straight hair with fringe bangs. It makes me question his talent and creativity. I cannot recommend HeadSpace Salon based on this experience. It's disheartening to feel ignored and undervalued as a client. I see based on the other negative reviews, I'm not alone in this experience. I can speak quite a bit of Italian but I'm not fluent, so I used Google translate, because when it comes to my hair, I don't want misunderstandings. Maybe he only likes to cut Italians. He should say so up front if thats the case.

He recommended Silvia take care of me, which she truly did. I had no clue what hairstyle I wanted, and Silvia took the time to talk me through the options -- she even provided me WiFi to show her my dress online to make sure we picked a good match! I was so pleased with the final product that I came back into the salon the following day for a second blow-out! Silvia is kind, professional and truly a master of her art! All the stylist were extremely talented and friendly. Very clean and their chairs are comfortable. I have zero complaints and all the complements in the world for this salon. I dm'd the salon on Instagram and quickly got a reply and was scheduled within the week. I showed up and was warmly greeted. I showed Charissa a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I showed her. I mentioned I wanted some face framing bangs and she just slid her shears across the front of my hair and recommended a quick trim to give my hair some more movement. I had such a pleasant experience chatting with Charissa and the owner, I believe her name is Jill, and Jill's daughter. They're so sweet and engaging. I couldn't be happier with my hair! I mentioned that as a study abroad student, I didn't have a hair dryer and didn't care to pay for one for the 4 months I was living in Rome. Jill LET ME BORROW a hair dryer, I guess an extra she had and didn't use, for the remainder of my time studying abroad in Rome. Of course I returned it to her before I went back to the US but my point is that Jill and her team are truly phenomenal. You should go here for any hair service you want

Excellent Service and Salon -…read more I walked in without an appointment and was greeted by Ginevra ( Ginni) - she did a FANTASTIC colour job and highlights - In addition to her professionalism and politeness, one of the owners was also present and he came over a couple of times just to examine and to provide suggestions. He was very hands on and cared for the work that Ginni was doing. I highly recommend this place - I went to couple other places prior to Tessier and they were all quite arrogant and refused to take me since I walked in without an appointment.
