In my case, it has been a few years only because work trips had kept me away.  What to expect? One of the most diverse and kind crowds you'll find anywhere in Indy. Amazing hosts: Kyle Long from Cultural Manifesto on WFYI and Artur Silva, a talented artist (the duo behind Cultural Cannibals). Drum performances by a troop of students from Indiana University along with a large screen projecting Carnaval video footage. I won't lie, I'd skip the classic Caipirinhas next time (holy sweetness) but that's no biggy. I approached her directly inside at the hosetess stand and apologized if we'd offended her somehow, and asked what was wrong. Her response: "I'm just doing my job." That's not service... that's arrogance and caught me so off guard I couldn't comprehend where this energy was stemming from. All we did was show up for dinner and we were treated with hatred. My girlfriend went in to address it. Not one staff member asked what happened. No apologies. No attempt to make it right. Just silence and dirty looks. We left without ordering. Management had a chance to fix this and chose not to. That's a failure at every level. Whatever reputation Bluebeard has, this killed it for us. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Pipers at the Marott was not even on my radar, when initially searching for venues for a wedding. I was looking for something upscale, classy, and looked vintage. I recently moved to Indianapolis and happen to be driving by one day. I noticed that this beautiful, twin brick building mentioned it provided catering services and had to inquire. Pipers had everything I was looking for, and the best part of it all, it came with Ashley, the sales & catering manager. She really was incredible. She was very fast to respond to all emails I sent and helped me through the (very emotional) process of planning my own wedding. With her help, I felt confident that I didn't need to hire a full-time planner because she was so on top of it. Pipers has in-house catering, the venue, service, and will provide dessert.
