In my case, it has been a few years only because work trips had kept me away.  What to expect? One of the most diverse and kind crowds you'll find anywhere in Indy. Amazing hosts: Kyle Long from Cultural Manifesto on WFYI and Artur Silva, a talented artist (the duo behind Cultural Cannibals). Drum performances by a troop of students from Indiana University along with a large screen projecting Carnaval video footage. I won't lie, I'd skip the classic Caipirinhas next time (holy sweetness) but that's no biggy. The dance floor is hopping from start to finish and I'd place a bet that your face will hurt the next morning from smiling so much the night before. It's that good.

My favorite part was meeting so many native Brazilians that now live in Indy. I learned so much from them, as most of them have attended the actual Carnaval and attend this party as a home away from home. People are dressed fun and also wear beads around their neck, glitter on their faces, etc (you can also just show up in normal clothes). It's a 10pm-1am party and I can't wait for next year! I would have to say this restaurant is my favorite in Indy right now after one meal. Most of the things we shared were amazing and for a complete description please refer to my photo of the menu. We ordered the following: Burrata with Amelia's bread as an appetizer which was delicious. Gem Salad - This was amazing and I could eat it every day of the week. Stacci house made pasta - This was a big hit and I would order this every time. Hanger Steak - My husband, aka the picky eater, loved it. I didn't try it, but everyone seemed to like it. Chicken with a few dumplings - We all loved this. Three desserts to share: a cheesecake with fruit on top, one a bread pudding and a chocolate crisp. Their ever changing menu featuring local produce and meats is always unique, inventive, and most importantly, delicious. Their cocktail list is one of the best and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had an extensive mocktail list as well. Their sodas and syrups are all house-made which means every drink is full of fresh flavors. I had a lemon pasta dish an my husband ordered the hanger steak. Both were cooked perfectly and composed of flavors and textures that complimented each other perfectly. There's nothing that wouldn't be good on their menu because you can tell the chefs are exceptional as well as the ingredients they choose. I really can't say enough good things about this place, it remains one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal and no matter what I choose, I'm never disappointed.
