Ok, first the good... *The food was excellent. We had beef and chicken, both with wonderful sauces, along with some amazing green beans and mashed potatoes. The dessert was great too. *The wait staff were super helpful, courteous and efficient. I hope they pay them well because they deserve it. *The venue was very pretty Ok, now the not-so-great, which unfortunately is a longer list... *They need better signage and lighting for nighttime events. It was hard to tell where to park and even more difficult finding the buildings in the dark. We wandered through the rocky parking lot and found a sidewalk and finally found the party. *Um, ADA compliant? Not so great. I have a lot of health issues and have difficulty walking long distances. There was no such thing as handicap parking and I would have had a very difficult time trying to use my walker. Good luck if you're in a wheelchair. *This was partially an outside event. Generally speaking, outside events in the winter have patio heaters but the only heat sources available were two small fire pits. Everyone took turns warming up by the fire but more was definitely needed. *Our invitation said there would be s'mores stations set up. I don't know if this was a mistake by the venue or the person who booked, but no s'mores were found. Boo! *Lastly, the bartender was less than friendly. Every other staff person was beyond helpful and super friendly except for the bartender. I mean, he wasn't outwardly hostile or anything but he might as well have been a robot bartender. I was married here this past week and Samantha and her team helped to make this a memorable and…read moresmooth evening. I am a person who likes to plan out everything in advance so that when things happen, I already have a plan in place to be able to fix it, or to have someone else be able to fix it (in this case, I had everything set up to where I would be bothered as little as possible). Samantha was allowing me to meet up with her almost monthly to complete payments and to go over different details as they arose. She was extremely helpful when it came to planning and was amazing at responding to all emails (which I definitely did not get from numerous other vendors). Then throughout the day, she was extremely helpful in keeping they plan we created in motion. The price here is great! If you so chose, this event space allows you to maintain a budget in a medium to lower budget. You have options to have everything included as you prefer (they have different caterers and DJs they contract with) or you can only use the space if you so wish to do. They keep the bar as an open bar (meaning you give them the alcohol and they serve it) and they provide basically all of the non-alcoholic stuff. Samantha even brought in a local prickly pear syrup for prickly pear margaritas that was delicious. There were also different things you could add if you wanted them (upgrades for chairs, an extra getting ready room, a fire pit, etc.) We were allowed to bring in whatever decorations that we wanted, so an individual could lean into the rustic, Southwest theme they already had, or to spin what is there to match just a rustic theme (I personally leaned more towards the mountain/forest theme rather than the Southwest theme). There was a possibility that it would rain on the wedding day in which Samantha spoke with us about the day before. Together we made sure there was a plan in place in case it rained (it didn't so we were able to get married on the lawn). Everything that evening went really smoothly. If I have any tips for future weddings - bring bug spray. Events are mostly outside, at the base of a mountain... you want the bug spray. This event space very much matched everything that I would look for in planning a wedding. It gave me the freedom to do as I wanted creatively, but also assisted in providing structure to maintain the plan I had in place, or fill in some gaps that I was missing. I strongly recommend using the Corona Ranch as an event space and I hope that many groups will have wonderful parties here in the future.

I attended a beautiful yoga + sound bath collaboration with El Ritual Wellness, and the setting couldn't have been more perfect. The historic adobe chapel sits hidden among desert brush, part of a small cluster of buildings and outdoor gathering spaces that make the whole area feel peaceful and intentionally preserved. Practicing somatic yoga inside the chapel was incredible. The acoustics carried the sound bath effortlessly through the space, and the combination of soft instruments, birds outside, and the quiet desert atmosphere made it feel deeply grounding. By the end I felt completely rested and reset. The venue itself is simple but stunning -- exposed wood beams, warm adobe walls, and that old-world Tucson history you just can't replicate in modern spaces. Such a special event space. I'm so glad I finally stopped to check out San Pedro Chapel after passing that parking lot so many times.

I attended a charity event that was at the El Casino ballroom last weekend. This southside venue…read morehosted an event with hundreds of people attending. There was a private parking lot and a huge central space where food was brought in from the outside for a fundraiser for a local chef. There was a wall with numerous bars and several bartender staffing for our event. What I think was most fun was the casino tables since I don't normally gamble and since this was a charity event, we had were each given chips to game with the venue is somewhat dated however, the temperature was very comfortable for a hot time in Tucson and it was spotlessly clean, any trash that was left in the trash cans was removed instantly by staff and things seem to be running very smoothly. So for someone wanting to have a quinceanera or a wedding this seems like a good spot especially since they had a gated parking lot especially for the venue. Parking is so tricky in Tucson. That's a big plus.

The event featured refreshing mocktails afterward and a variety of wellness-focused vendors, which made the whole experience feel intentional and community-centered. We also did a HIIT workout led by K Fit, and it was such a great workout--energizing, fun, and accessible for different fitness levels. What I loved most was the atmosphere. The outdoor setting was beautiful, and it was such a great place to network, meet new people, and make new friends in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
